Well, now that this cool new Honor System is here, a have one complaint to share...

Don't worry, it's nothing about how I want to be mean or a troll or that. I just relized after the game ended (lost as Yi , team was toxic) that I couldnt say that I wasnt allowed to honor enemies anymore (the enemy Xin was chill AF and was also with a toxic team). If there is a way to, I'd love to find out how, and if there isn't, could we maybe still keep that a thing? Or at least reimplement it in a new way, cause Honoring good opponents that know how to just play a game are hard to come by and should be respected for it.

They mentioned somewhere that they're looking into adding that feature in the future. I wish you could do stuff like gift people a small amount of IP or something as a thank you.

I'm sorry this new honor system is freaking stupid. It worked just fine the other way. I sometimes used the chat after a match to determine if I wanted to honor someone since everything can be cool up till that point then someone who, previously, seemed ok becomes a toxic ass. Post-game is just as much a part of the game as being on the field and sometimes more telling of the people you play with. I am glad they decided to actually DO something with honor but now I'm basically starting over. I literally have hundreds of honors that mean exactly nothing now, so no credit for being a good sport in the past. .. all those years of being helpful or taking one for the team is for naught. Thanks for f***ing up something that should have been good. You've had years to make use of what you had but chose not to.

Yeah, they did mention that honoring opponents would eventually be a thing. Time will tell when this feature returns however since they most likely will be focusing on the Worlds Patch soon & possibly the Preseason-8 patch afterwards.

I do wish I could still honor opponents.

Sometimes you get the guy who does nothing else but tell his team to stop being toxic turds in all chat which is enough for me to like someone.

Even better is when you are playing a bunch of noobs but one player is actually good and gives you some good duels. I always honored those players who kept me on my toes for most of the match. I think they deserve some recognition.
