Immature Winter Break Trolls (when does school start up again?)

I know league is a pretty screwy community. It's F2P, I get it.

But it seems whenever there's a school break the toxicity is at a crazy level. Belligerence, not giving a fuck (esp in ranked).

I'm not in high school or college. I enjoy the nostalgia of playing Warcraft 2 and the strategy and skill of this game.

I'm just ranting i guess. It's riot's job to accurately filter out trolling and ensure proper matchmaking (or not).

I have this dream where I don't have to play with immature kids. Is that so impossible now with the sophistication and nuance of the gaming community at large?

Riot can you give these kids a better outlet than ranked?

How do you moderate that, though? The game is legally restricted to people ages 13+, yet I know some people IRL who let their 10-year-olds play.

Best bet is to find some chill, mature players and queue with them in normals or flex.

No, I totally understand this is a fantasy. And I do feel that Riot is making efforts to curb trolls in good faith, look at flex ranked for example.

You should be aware that there is basically no correlation (r < 0,01) between age and toxicity. Younger players are NOT more toxic!

Don't get me wrong, toxicity is a problem and it's annoying yadda yadda yadda...but it's not okay to blame children for it, as tempting it might be to do that.
