This is all I said and I get a permaban?? Riot what? We had a kid pick Twisted Fate adc and was arguing that TF is an ADC and all I called him was dumb because 1 minute in our blitz missed a hook and he said he was inting and proceeds to go lane by lane feeding kills yet im the one who gets permabanned? This system is so flawed its actually ridiculous.

You're on a level 9 account. The TF was level 8. He might not know what he's doing yet.

So, one of two things are true: Either you spent an ENTIRE game harassing a new player for no good reason, or you spent an entire game feeding a troll. Either way, you fucked up royally.

Edit: And holy shit, if you're getting bans already on a level 9 account, you must be a class-A jackass.

I called him dumb once after he called our blitz bad and fed my laner 3 times, riot is way to strict on what you get banned for, i blame it on the way people consider "being bullied" these days

You're not banned over his game you're banned after having a history of harassment/toxicity What you crammed into 3 minutes is what most people cram into 50 games(probably an over exaggeration) But likely you have been punished in the past couple months or weeks. and where this at one time may of earned a chat restriction it is still harassment and if you just came off a 14 day ban, then the next step is perma if you disagree with that, please open a support ticket to contest it I'm only 1 person with 1 opinion, riot is the overseer of the game only they can rewrite the ruling

Here are all the times you have been harrassing him. Calling someone dumb once or twice doesn't mean you harrassed him.

Actually you called him dumb twice, being Toxic doesn't have to mean you use fowl language. Being Toxic is just being plain rude, and by your messages I see 10 counts of you being rude. If someone wants to play something off-meta who are you to judge them for it? They are the ones playing not you.

What about the games you went 0-12 and 2-11? Did you int there? or did you have a bad game like the TF did?

The system isn't flawed. The system saw you consistently getting reported for negative behavior and found those reports to be true. Nothing flawed there. The only thing flawed is your view on what is acceptable behavior for Riot's game.

In this game specifically all you had to do was keep playing the game and not being a negative nancy towards others. Once the game was over, report the TF since he clearly declared he was inting in chat and move on to your next game. It's really as simple as that.

Also, it bears reminding that TF can be a good ADC when played and built properly too. I have done it many times on SR and ARAM. You chose to flame the TF into inting because you don't think TF should be anywhere else but mid lane. I get that because it makes sense since his Ult has a short range now compared to the old days, but his kit does fit into the botlane as well. It just means that adc TF can't really gank the top lane without a recall or spending a lot of time MIA.

Just my two cents.

Begging for reports. You really don't need to do that and the community has previously spoken for 8 years prior that this is effectively threatening and harassment. It only takes one report to flag a game for review. Keep in mind that it does take a number of games being flagged to trigger the final review.

Called him an 8 year old and said he sucks at adc TF. Clearly not helping your case any are you? That's more than one insult when you said this was just calling him stupid once. Now, I can't clearly decipher what was said in all chat and what was said in your own teams chat, but I'm pretty sure you were bringing the toxicity into both. I'm certain the enemy team didn't like it either.

If he said I'm inting into the chat, again all you needed to do was ignore him. Play the game as directed by the Summoner's code and try to win. If he was inting and declared it in chat, then he will get punished by the system same as you did here.

Repeating your insults here for good measure? That clearly is verbal abuse AND the sign of a consistently toxic player. You can call me toxic for saying this all you want, but over the course of many years this is the exact pattern of deniability that most if not all toxic players beyond redemption say when there's really no defense for it here.

Mute. Report. Move on. Like I said before. Without a direct Riot response, we won't know what other games caused your ban to be permanent and can only assume that you had a 14 day, and a couple of chat restrictions before this.

On its own? It probably wouldn't be - but what you're not getting here is that it's about repetitiveness, not severity.

You were told on three separate occasions to stop BMing into the chatbox. First with a 10 game chat ban, then with a 25, then with a 2 week vacation, where you were told that your next punishment for any reason would be a permanent ban.

I don't blame Riot tbh after all I'm pretty sure League of Legends use to be a place of toxic people who would insult you for being bad. Idk exactly i think someone told me, but that doesn't bother me. The best thing you could have done was like a lot of people said which was just ignore the guy. Just say that it would be more preferable if he was a mid laner instead of a ADC. If the guy says that he's inting well simple just let it happen and report him and give a detail of what was happening. If he gets reported over and over well he'll get banned. You don't have to start a war with him over why TF isn't a ADC and say he's a salty 8 year old which will only make the situation worse for you. Plus riot might have gotten a bit restricter because they don't want others to be discouraged from playing the game.

30 messages, none of which actually seems to offer advice. If he doesn't want the advice, you just don't talk to him. Number of messages in a game affects if you get ban or not, low level accounts especially. Since you are clearly smurfing, just focus on yourself. I'm assuming your main is banned?

Was he Blatantly inting, was he running under tower? If he was trying to gank and being Complete trash then it's not bannable. If he was running under tower or generally just killing Himself without even trying to kill the enemy Eg: running into more than one enemy is either a complete idiot or Yes, bannable.

Tf adc is not a bannable offense, i for one encourage off meta builds Eg: full ad thresh, full ap galio, full health/ap tryndamere and i wish that there were more that actually worked

This was very well deserved.

Disagreeing is allowed, however, your choice of words in itself is not. You were repeadedly rude to him, Called out for reportings and tried to enforce your personal opinion as his playstyle, telling him what to do and what not to. If he was intentionally feeding, he will get his punishment, But you were being extremely rude and disrespectful to him and went with direct Insults to top it off. You can tell him he is wrong, but you can't tell him he is dumb for being wrong.

You have expressed toxicity that, albeit not worth a PERMANENT ban, is definetly worth a punishment. If it is perma ban, then the closest Thing we can assume is that you were struck with a punishment before and the perma was the chain reaction of the last available step of measure. Lighter toxicity doesn't get instantly permanently banned, but it does get perma-ban if you have had a 14 days before.

Conclusion, yes you deserved it.

It's not about offending someone, it's about the overall environment - the point here is that we want a sportsmanlike environment, not an environment where eight year olds tell their opponents how they did their moms last night.

Plenty of other places for you to call people names - not here.

So what's the proper response, by your estimation? OP is somebody that's managed to power through four tiers of punishments by level 9. That's extreme, consistent toxicity. If you were in charge, how would you approach this situation?

Well I don't think you can adequately rate such things in the current system, because its skewed towards issuing more chat based punishments

at most OP probably would deserve a chat restriction. And if he continued to not be able to use chat correctly (assuming every report is legit, kys go die material) then he would continue to have an account stuck with chat restrictions. If OP is just unpleasant in general, his games will probably suffer everyone would mute him all the time and he'd have poor communication.

If he trolled and took actions to throw games (something you can't mute) then he'd be in danger of suspension and account loss

First time sure, chat restriction.

But since we're on the fourth punishment tier here, that means he's already blown by multiple restrictions before. What's the solution for repeat chat offenders? Keep in mind that perma-restriction used to exist but was found to be ineffectual, since people would just troll in other ways if they couldn't chat.

If all of these "restrictions" were blown because he was saying words like dumb , idiot, etc---- I don't think OP deserved punishment in the first place

If OP was in games saying get cancer f** and things of that sort-- then the restrictions were deserved.

I would stack the restrictions to a certain point, then warn OP if they perform any griefing behavior because they can't type, the account will be terminated. Put the account in a high priority review queue (for as long as its on restriction, a report would trigger thorough review)

I wish it was more this way. There would also need to be some communication to players that report for every little thing to dial it back a lot as to lower false positives
