Reform System?

As someone who was recently banned I cant tell you how painful it feels to lose an account were I have dedicated over a 150+ days of blood sweat and tears into. Although I probably deserve the ban I really wish Riot would introduce some sort of reform system where rather than permanently banning players they give an extended ban of a year or so and allow players to once again try to reintegrate into the game after this time period with a limited ban allowance in order to help people like me actually try and make an improvement in themselves to try and change for the better. Im not defending my actions but its just heart wrenching to know that something I put so much time and effort into is now forever lost to me as I would give almost anything for a chance to get it back.

They did try something once before. I believe it was the level 20 challenge. Basically a bunch of permaban people were allowed to make a new account and if they got to level 20 without getting punished they could have their old account back. The failure rate was really high (Don't have the number and honestly I'm kinda lazy to look it up) so they ax'd that.

That being said, if you feel like you've changed for the better there is nothing stopping you from making a new account and rejoining. It sucks but if you were banned for toxic behavior then your account is lost. But maybe it'll help you check yourself before you act that way again should you make a new account.

They used to long before I started playing. Someone on here has more info I'm sure.

It hurts to lose everything you've worked for and it's supposed to. Punishments are seldom designed to be easy. I hope if you continue to play you'll have reformed entirely.

Good luck. I hope you have no need of it

You sound like me when my ex broke up with me. </3

Seriously though, that's what the 14 day ban is. You're supposed to go oh shit next one is permaban... I better stop being an asshole. If you skipped the 14 day ban because you started calling people f@**0t$, retards, n-words, telling em to kill themselves or get cancer, then you're just dumb and I have no sympathy.

Come on, you know better. Leave that shit for your friends IRL. In this PC generation, you should know people freak out when you say those things. It's sad, but you're dumb if you thought you could just call people that in league of legends.

When I first started playing and I saw the reports n shit (first game I've played with reports) I thought I better look at what gets banned n stuff so I don't do it... cuz ofc I didn't read shit when I agreed to their terms. So maybe you should have checked that, if you were just ignorant of it.

Given all this, I really don't see a reason why someone can't avoid a permaban. You would've had to have blown off every responsibility to see what you can/can't do or say. That's your responsibility.

Sidenote: Riot should just get rid of their permabans though... doesn't really seem to be helping the community.
