Got perm-banned for doing nothing??

Just got perm banned after getting falsed reported keep this in mind I spent over 300 dollars on League. Here are the logs I've received when I was banned. I asked the Xin if he's retarded one time because he was verbal abusing me and saying I was bronze etc.

You're right.

That chat, by itself would not have been a permaban. It likely would have only been a chat restriction. However, all of your other punishments and warnings were taken into account since you managed to accrue so many punishments in a short time without showing any signs of reform. There is an escalation schedule in place to apply harsher punishments to players that refuse to reform after multiple punishments. Your last punishment informed you that it was your FINAL warning.

You where diffidently toxic, and worthy of punishment, although truthfully I have seen much worse. However, the way this system works, is your punishment gets increased in tiers. If your most recent punishment was a 14 day suspension, no matter what the next punishment will be a permanent ban. If you didn't reform after receiving other punishments, then you get a perma-ban, im very sorry :(

This is my favourite part when he plays "stupid" and pretends he's bronze so whatever he's doing (intentionally letting teammates die) looks like it's nothing. I've met players like this in game, when another player calls them Bronze they pretend they are and let them die.

First off, it doesn't matter how much money you spend on the game; you're required to follow the rules just like everybody else. From the Tribunal FAQ:

Do paying players get leniency? Paying customers are treated exactly the same as non-paying customers by the Tribunal.

Second off, you got a permaban because you refused to change your behavior after receiving at least 35-games worth of chat restrictions and a 2-week ban as well. Also, permabans are ALWAYS reviewed by a Riot employee personally, so they had to go through your entire account history and see that you had no intentions of reforming in order to decide that you needed to be permabanned from the game. It wasn't false reports that got you punished, nor was it just these 2 games either (reform cards never show every single game that you're valid reported in).

As for your chat logs in particular, here's what stands out to me as reportable:

Game 1:

Can be taken as being a bit passive-aggressive here.

Yes, it's a team based game, and you being passive-aggressive and harassing your teammates when they do something wrong is not being a team player. Also comments like the first one in this quote don't help matters at all whatsoever.

This comes off as you being a sore loser and unsportsmanlike.

Game 2:

Honestly I can't find much of anything that I or anyone else for that matter would hit punish for except for maybe these lines right here:

ProsDoPvP: lmao ProsDoPvP: you're funny kid.

But even then it's a bit of a stretch there honestly.

Overall the attitude that you displayed in game 1 of the chat logs is the kind of behavior that got you punished in the first place. In terms of games alone I would punish for game one and pardon for game two, but for the case overall I would definitely hit punish just because of game one (1) alone (remember that it only takes one game to receive a punish verdict). Next time try asking politely and respectfully why someone did what they did, and if they start to act up then just mute and report them after the game has ended. Don't stoop down to their level though, as that's exactly what they want you to do.

TL;DR: You weren't punished for "doing nothing", you were punished for being passive-aggressive and verbally abusive to your teammates when they did stuff that you didn't like. Game 1 is definitely the worst example of the 2 games the reform card shows, but because you showed consistently negative behavior like the kind that game 1 showcases, and because you refused to heed the warnings of your 3 prior punishments before-hand, you received a permaban because of it. However much money you spend means nothing when it comes to your behavior. Also, someone else being a verbally abusive jerk doesn't give you the right to become one yourself. When you retaliate yourself you're forcing up to 8 other players in the game with you to put up with 2 raging jerks now instead of just one: the original and now you. If you don't have anything nice or constructive to say then just say nothing. I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.

You used the word retarded, also you mentioned you were smurfing. I would say that deserve a somewhat 1 or 2 weeks, even one month ban, not a perma ban tho, you haven't reached the highest level of toxic, after all. But I'm not the one who makes decision, bad luck boy.

This is probably the least worthy perma ban I've ever seen.

Which is surprising because usually perma bans are issued for legitimately toxic players whereas this guy was... barely borderline a bit toxic slightly. If I were Riot I'd rescind this perma ban but I am not Riot. I mean I understand that he had committed prior offenses but if they're on this level, that , in my opinion, does not justify a perma ban.

You don't give a guy the Death Penalty for Jaywalking 100 times. In my opinion.

This is a common theme, sadly, the OP's in these kind of threads often seem to think that they were punished solely on the games the reform card provides, and they're delusional enough to think that these are the only games they have been reported on instead of realizing they're following a pattern.

Just asking someone if they are retarded can get you banned. Plus Riot doesn't care how much money you spend. AND if its a smurf account why worry?
