got a ban for games i didnt play?

so i got banned recently, and i noticed that they were conversations that i dont remember having.

I go to my game history from a website, and i notice that my rank wasn't what it was before, it was a tier higher.

i also noticed a bunch of games that i FOR SURE did not play

will riot look into an account issue if there are logins from different IP addresses? id like to not lose my account, and ive been working so hard to get my ban level reduced by behaving well in game and this is kind of soul crushing

You'll need to submit a Support Ticket for this. In the meantime, please ensure your email is secure, your computer is scanned for viruses, and the correct email is verified with your League account by clicking your profile on the top right of this page and going to Settings.

Erm... they will just ban your account

I suggest you delete this post change your pw and some decent software to protect your c9mputer.

They really should update their security to be on par with steam, lock in from a different ip address will require authentication for example.

The fact that somebody else was on your account and actually improved your rank screams "boosting". Whether or not that is actually the case, it may not be a good idea to draw Riot's attention to it.

i dont care what it screams? somebody was on my account without my permission and got me perma banned

Hey man, I'm not the one you need to convince.

If you're already perma'd, feel free to make a support ticket to contest it, since you have nothing to lose. But know that your excuse is, itself, something you'd be in danger of getting banned over.

couldnt get any worse, just know if i have to make a new account im not spending a dime on it because riot screwed me so we'll see what they do i guess

How, exactly, did Riot screw you? They're not omniscient, they can't know that you weren't you during those games.
