Permabanned for griefing without any prior bans?

So I was permanently banned, with no email info given, this happened about 5 days ago, and I made a support ticket, where they said I was banned for griefing/feeding even though I've never had a ban before, only the smallest chat restriction. I'm not sure what to do in this situation, the only thing I can think of that I did wrong was IP farming for a day during the boost, just to get 2 Wukong and Azir, but that was with a full 5 and we asked the other team if they were okay with it so idk how that deserves a ban. Thoughts?

You got a permanent suspension because at least one player reported you and triggered a review of your matches and in-game behavior.

If you choose to try to game the system again, at least check for clarification on the Boards or in a ticket first. People can say one thing (or not say anything at all) and then report ya after the fact. Here's an excerpt from the Riot Games Support Knowledge Base:

Regardless of the circumstances, behaviors such as in-game taunting; harassment, offensive remarks, intentionally feeding, etc., will be reported by the community and if warranted punished by the Instant Feedback System.

Thanks for the response, and I understand it's against the rules, so I guess the people we played against lied about being happy with us, but while I understand a suspension, why a permaban from nothing prior? Also maybe if Riot didn't want people to game the system then they wouldn't make champs take such a long time to obtain without paying RP.

It's likely that the suspension was escalated to a permanent suspension due to the severity and the consistency of the feeding/griefing:

#WHY DID I SKIP RESTRICTIONS? We have a zero-tolerance policy for extreme negative behavior as well as extremely offensive language and remarks made in game towards other players. Since it is a severe disregard for the Summoner’s Code this sort of behavior can result in skipping to a Two week or Permanent suspension. Suspensions of this degree based on negative behavior will not likely be reduced or removed.

Regarding the difficulty of obtaining champions without purchasing RP, Riot will be releasing a new Hextech Crafting system later this season that will make it easier to obtain champions and skins without using RP.

Yeah I read about the skip, and I checked my match history and it was 24 games that I did the IP farming for, but I know people who did it consistently for the whole week who didn't get banned or warned. I guess I'm just unlucky then. And regarding the crafting, I thought that was only for skins, but either way, right now it is difficult to earn IP to buy champs, and so what I did was farmed until I had the two I wanted (Wukong and Azir), and then I stopped.

So you intentionally lost matches in order to take advantage of the IP boost? I might be wrong but intentionally losing, regardless of 5 man premade or not, is against the rules.

Yea I can see how it would be punishable but a permaban seems like too much IMO

i dont think intentionally losing (with 5 premades) is against the rules, friends of mine kinda did the same to "abuse" the ip boost and none of them got banned yet.

maybe you did feed a lot on purpose? or troll/grief.

and yes it is possible to get a permabann right away without getting the other penaltys first. but i only heard about someone like that once. who got perma right away. his chatlogs were so toxic, a mod closed the thread and said "nothing to discuss here anymore" lol

I never actually griefed in games other than these 5 stack ones, and my little brother actually got perma'd for the too toxic thing but yeah the thing with mine is I was rarely toxic and never fed intentionally, worst I did was leave a game.

If the enemy team lied about being okay with you intentionally losing, then I think that's entrapment (I don't think, it is) and I think that the punishment should not be permanent. The punishment does not fit the crime. Since you were with a 5 man premade of course. Have you contacted support and explained?

Chances are though, they won't take it off. Sorry bud :/

I did contact support but so far it's all copy pasted responses. And yeah only one group wasn't okay with it, and we tried against them, but they were already a bit fed and they won easily anyway
