Yes. Once you're on a 14-day Suspension, any punishment of any sort - whether minor or major - will result in a permanent ban.

To the first part, yes - as long as you show sportsmanlike behavior, over a certain length of time (it's fairly long, as far as I know), your place on the punishment ladder will drop. The first step down would be the 25-game Chat Restriction tier, where any punishment (disregarding major ones) will result in another 14-day Suspension.
Over enough time, your account can fall back into good standing as though you hadn't had the 14-day ban in the first place - though I think it will still remain on your record that you had one at one point.

I believe in you! You can drop down the punishment ladder! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] Also, good initiative in asking about the ban system BEFORE getting punished. I've seen so many people continue to behave badly after a two-week suspension and act surprised that the next punishment was a permanent ban.
Modi2 votesThey have given rough estimates on timings in the range of 3-6 months per tier. This is affected by how frequently you play (the more you play, the faster it can go down) and how you behave (if you play with poor behavior, but not punishable behavior, it will slow).
Basically, play as a good sport, and you will be down off the punishment "ledge" soon enough :)

Depends! You'll see people stay honor 0 from basically the month the new honor system was invented until present day. These are people that are not toxic enough to get the ban but not reformed enough to earn back honor. On the other hand, very sportsmanlike players can probably get to honor 1 or 2 with only 75 games if I had to guess

Umbral Regent1 votesThe Player Support team don't issue punishments, the IFS (Instant Feedback System) does. Besides, regardless of who's issuing punishments, they're doing it to make the community better.
If you feel like you've been wrongly punished, either file a ticket to Player Support, or create a thread of your own so that other players may weigh in and potentially help you see where things went wrong.
badpally1 votesi did file a ticket they dismissed it wrongfully and then i filed another and another then i chatted with a few of them but again i have question that they even know the definition of honor. its not rolling over and ignoring the problem in question its doing the right thing and when necessary standing up for yourself.

So, you're half-right, honor and being honorable is about doing the right thing. However, "standing up for yourself" isn't part of the equation. In fact, if you were being honorable, you wouldn't have to "stand up for yourself", since you could easily mute the players offending you and then report them after the match.
If you think Riot's definition of "honor" or "honorable" is just rolling over and ignoring the problem, you're wrong. It's decidedly shutting out the problem so you can focus on playing the game and earning your team a win.
badpally1 votesactually its high respect; esteem. synonyms: distinction, recognition, privilege, glory, kudos, cachet, prestige, merit, credit; importance, illustriousness, notability; respect, esteem, approbation and i was very disrespected when he started bullying me and had to defend my honor sometimes its not as cut and dry as the summoners code tries to make it out to be. and he was also slandering my esteem so the natural defense to that is to hit back that is the definition of honor and more importantly defending your honor and that is all i did and i do not see anything in the summoners code that you can not defend your honor. also as i mentioned i contained my urge for about 34 minutes. i was right in the situation and riot support team is wrong. they even told me something i find laughable "well if 3 people feel the same way about it then maybe you are wrong we are not overturning the decision" well what i have to say about that is an entire country thought slavery was right for centuries until one man disagreed and wars were fought over it but in the end is slavery right ........... well by riots logic ..... yes its perfectly fine because many people thought it was but only one did not.

Counterflame is still flame, dude. It doesn't matter what the synonyms for honor are - if someone is being dishonorable and harassing you, stooping down to their level and counterflaming them makes you dishonorable.
But, since you're clearly not intent to see any side of the discussion which might even remotely see you in the wrong, it's clear this isn't going anywhere, so, I'm done trying to talk to you. End of discussion.
badpally1 voteswell i know im right in this case and the other side has no position and as to stooping to their level no im nowhere near that level i dont intentionally ruin peoples games 1 slur does not really effect the experience of peoples games but what i have to contend with on a regular basis effects pretty much the team that i am on ...... its not funny or cool to ruin 4 other peoples game experience and again 1 slur is not going to do that..... end of discussion ...... i win
