Before you hit that report button.

I admit that I did submit some reports about certain people's behavior and I did get some responses from RIOT that some kind of action has been taken. Not all of the reports I sent in were acted upon. As a newbie I did feel frustrated but then I thought:

  1. The report was not legit.
  2. I misunderstood the violations and based on this misunderstanding I perceived that the player needs to be reported. 3) I was mad and got tilted hence the report was uncalled for.

I think there should be an option button that allows us to "DRAFT" the report before we turn it in. When we're mad or tilted, some of us (I'M GUILTY) just want to hit that red exclamation point and click that SUBMIT button. The system doesn't allow us to go back and report and once we close that window we lose the options to report or not. IMHO, we should report when we're cool, calm, and collected.

What say you?

I mean, false reports get tossed.

Yea, don't worry too much about falsely reporting others. All a report does is to flag the game for review, after review, the system will make a judgement on whether that report was valid or not.

If it was a valid report, the review score stays on the person's account and if the score passes a certain threshold, then the player will get punished.

If the report was not a valid report, it gets tossed out.

What Riot needs instead, is better education to let people know that mass reports don't do anything extra, false reports do nothing to the account.
