Just some advice needed after my ban...

Hello guys,It's my first post here on the forums,I'm not asking for nonsence unban or whatever,just for some advice.Recently I got banned for abusive(toxic) chat for 14 days. It's simple, got matched against a bad teammate...Asked nicely at Champ Select who's playing which role and what role is free,someone said jungle.I picked jungle spells and suddenly teammate locked master yi who i prefer to play in jungle.No problems I'll play on support I said.After the game started the same guy who went to jungle suddenly went bot with me and there's my log afterwards. Maybe I went in rage mod in this log and I don't really have excuse afterwards I'm ok with this ban I learned a lession.Just wanted help from guys who had 14 day ban or whoever understands bans and riot policy.

1.I saw in the message that my Honor goes to level 1. My question is how much time should I need to be back at normal honor and normal rewards? (advance further) 2.My main question is should I even bother playing at this account or should i just create a new one,because i saw somewhere that I became "marked" player by Riot from ban and If I go in rage mode like below I'll get perma banned? Alright, something I try to practice is "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". If you have a toxic teammate or someone who is putting you on tilt, muting them and just avoiding typing in the chat is probably the best way to go. If it is warranted you can always report them after and save yourself the stress of trying to type angry messages to them and play at the same time. :D

As a general rule of thumb, hate speech or using things like 'retard' as an insult are a pretty big no-no. This takes us back to "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

Doing this actually works wonders. There will always be another game and it isn't worth the stress and possible ban to get super angry at a teammate. /mute is your best friend.

As for your questions:

Yes, you will be penalized in honor. I'm not sure how long it will take as I have never been there myself, but Riot actually just released a post saying they will be making the climb back from low honor a bit easier! As long as you aren't toxic this shouldn't be an issue at all. I'd say just play on the account and work on your behavior, if you truly have learned your lesson this should be ezpz.

for others that got out of H0, it took them around 250ish games, keep in mind that there weren't validly reported by their teammates in those games.

Your behavioral level will drop if you can consistently play games without being validly reported.

It takes as average of 3 months of play to drop a punishment tier, so for you to have a clean account, it I'll take 9 months of playing. Note that you have to play games on it, if you don't play much, it will take longer to drop punishment tiers.

Some of us just want to get back at people who hurt us. Here’s how.

  1. Understand the other person. Know what makes them toxic. Narcissism is the usual cause.
  2. Figure out the source of their pride. Is it their mechanics? Is it their macro? It’s what they’ll talk most about, just so you know.
  3. Get inside their head with nice comments. Watch them play. Notice every mistake. Mention it with a chipper encouragement.

This will slowly drive them insane. Bad people can’t handle goodness. It’s like sunlight on a vampire. Your chat log should look like this,

You: Nice, try, you’ll get ‘em next time! Troll: %#*! you! You: That AA cancel is hard. Try it again. Troll: *^%# off, you #^^%^! You: Ouch, that fight really put us behind. But I still trust your calls. :) Troll: Quit flaming me!

Don’t stop. Keep going all game. Every time you back, find something to mention. Just always tie it to one of their flaws. Seeming kindness and their imperfection are two things they can’t stand.

You can turn what they thought would be an off-handed putdown into a half-hour session of salt and tilt. Once they reach their limit, they may rage-split or run it down mid. Mention this in chat just once, and very gently.

You: Uh-oh, I think he might be a little tilted.

If they flame you for this, then take the chance for a witty comeback.

Troll: UNINSTALL! You: But I like this game too much.

At this point, you can’t squeeze them any more by talking about them. Start complimenting their lane opponent. Begin with a little thing, like, “You really had a good laning phase, btw. I thought that matchup was tough.”

Ideally, the lane opponent should get really excited and proud and brag. This will make the troll even madder. You should know how to encourage both by then. If other people jump in to flame the troll, though, stick up for them.

“Hey, take it easy. He’s sensitive.” “Careful. Don’t wanna tilt him.” “I’m worried you might make him salty.”

The moment you’re looking for is the AFK. That’s the payoff. They can’t take it anymore and admit defeat. You’ve beaten them, and they may or may not have thrown their computer out the window. Enjoy.

If this is in normal games, focus on the matchup. Screw your teammates if they feel like throwing the game away - you can still take something out of this and learn. If it is in ranked, you need to get a bit more creative with your flame. Throwing a smiley face after "kys" makes it all better, right?

In all seriousness, take every game as an opportunity to learn and get better. Being matched with retards is an inevitability, as is the nature of the beast.

Whenever you’re in tilt, just take a deep breath. Lame advice I know, but it does work a lot for me. When someone is being toxic, just ignore them. They are looking for a fight, don’t oblige them. Then report them, maybe watch a YouTube video, then play another game if you feel like it. That’s my routine to calm down.

You're also not allowed to defend yourself in chat. If you do, you get banned. I know. It just happened to me. Never had so much as a chat restriction. Suddenly out of the blue WHAM 2 week ban. Nice system you got there, Riot. nvm the guy that inted 28 kills.

Personally, I think its time for Riot to flat out pull the plug on in-game chat. Can't flame if you can't talk.

Yeah if you have a tendency to go rage mode over this video game, just make a new account, this one won't last long. As for honor, it depends on how.many you recieve and such. Just your behavior. Even if you get reported, but it's so mild that you don't get punished, it can still hold back your honor progress. They don't really tell us specifics on honor progress rates.

riot is bad at there job not your fault they ban based on amount of reports and such not what was actually said

And now for flame i have a ban :D ok i am rly salty but.... i think riot have to understand that in the game have so much kids. so much people who rly dont know what they are doing :D and we cant play every game 2v8 3v7 if u understand me... how can we didnt flame people who's dont give a fck, troll the game. give a fed. and makewhat they want... and than they are sayin (rep jungle for flame) ... OK this is a game . Game is for Kids. IF these people are Kids i wont flame ... but they are now.. they just have a bad day and come in game to fck it.... who cares. i am so salty i flame i make shts in game. OK but i never report. for what ? if he is 0 16 4 he wont get a ban cuz he is maybe new player and he is now learning . but nah i lose 5 games cuz i play alone and the others make what they want. and than i take ban cuz i flame someone and Win the game... rly ? and not like the others bans... now i have ban for 15days . and my acc is just stopeed. ok .... i had 10 bans for flame... ok but why u ban me to cant play ? .. same. i have 10 acc ican play so... have a nice day
