Stop the bullying, and the permabans

Riot, the easiest way to stop all of this shit is to simply not allow the person to send the message if it has a cuss word. It is that fucking easy. You guys allow us to cuss, and then ban us just for the money. If you guys really did care, you would set it up so we couldn't send a message with bad language in it, or have it censored for everyone. Why do you even have a option to take off the chat censorship? That is so much bullshit. You guys let us cuss in the game, but yet, you will still ban us even if we cuss. I got 2 permabans in my belt just because I was venting, not because I was being rude to people. I am mad right now because i played a game with some idiots who were bullying me, calling me names, putting me down, and saying stuff like kill yourself, tie a noose around your neck, etc. Obviously, if Riot wanted to promote reforming, they would stop people from using sentences/words like Kill yourself, You're a fucking retard, You are shit, etc.

Swearing isn't against the rules, and as such you can't get banned for it. Riot has never purposely banned someone due to swearing.

They ban because some people are disrespectful asshats who can't keep their mouths shut, but not because they swear.

Swearing by itself, like "oh shit"/"fuck my life/FML"/etc isn't banworthy. Swearing at others is. (e.g.; "fuck you, you piece of shit"). Why? Because one is just using it to emphasize a situation, while the other is used to actively insult someone else. So yes, you can get banned for swearing, but only if you swear at others. Which would fall under the disrespectful asshat thing.

What you're being banned for isn't the swearing, it's the poor behavior. That behavior can go with or without swearing, after all.

So no, you cannot get banned for swearing.

Hmm, yeah. But swearing at others is poor behavior. And that will get you banned. So poor behavior doesn't necessarily include swearing, but swearing is part of it. And swearing certainly won't help the case.

Oh if only you could see what they were saying. This is how I vent. I am not bullying, i am just saying like oh shit this nasus, and stuff like that. as you can see, it mostly wasn't targeted to anyone, but guess what, they don't get banned, but I get 25 IG chat restrics. This is what I mean by Riot having a shit system. Feel free to read it, but if you will, read the entire chat logs of mine.

If a kid doesn't stand up for himself against a bully, it will never end, and he will get badly injured, commit suicide, etc. If someone were to talk like that to me, and continue to, I would do something about that (fuck them up)

You sound as if after they used the Mute button, you think you have all the rights to curse & cuss as much as you want. Don't lie to me, I know this is your intent.

This situation is different than yours.

In the kid's case, if he stands up for himself, then it's worth it, but he has to pay the price by getting punished along with the bully by the principal.

In your case, you did stand up for yourself (by talking more crap, good god), and yet, you still whined for the actions that you did at your own will. What's worse, it's over the internet. It's not like after you Mute the guy, he would eventually come to your house & stab you with a knife for getting muted. Additionally, there's almost a 90% chance you will never see him again, while in the kid's case, they go to the same school for around 5 years.

Wanna know the fun fact? In your comment with the chat logs, you might say you're "not bullying them", but in the views of Nasus and others & getting punished as well, you definitely were.

The mute function doesn't magically absolve everybody from their sins. If you had muted them, you could still have reported them... and even if they had muted you, they could still have reported you. Mute is a band-aid fix. But it's one that you should have utilized because obviously it would have been the only thing to keep you from retaliating. Muting the others simply would have been a better way to handle the situation; and one that wouldn't have resulted in a punishment for you.

Or people could just not be an asshole in the first place. And if there really was a system like that, people would just find loopholes anyways. And no, they don't let you cuss, and they don't ban you just for cussing. They ban you for cussing at other people because that's just you being an ass. Oh so I see. You have 2 permabans. This suddenly makes so much more sense. Uh, I'm pretty sure you were being an ass if you were venting and that got you a perma. And those people do get in trouble too. You retaliating doesn't help, because then you're just like them.

yeah I guess, but even still, Riot doesnt know the difference between venting and cussing. I got 2 permabans because I was venting at someone, but it wasn't them directly. I was venting because they kept killing me and stuff, and it was ticking me off. It wasnt to the player, it was to the champion

Swearing is'nt a problem, insulting and threatening people is. And there already is a language filter you can turn on if you want.
