The Solution to Autolockers

Have you ever had one of those players that autolocks Yasuo despite the rest of the team composition? No knockups, no AP, no tank, it doesn't matter. They still just autolock Yasuo as soon as it's their turn to pick, ignoring you as you try to point out that he just doesn't fit into the comp. Most people from bronze to plat have experienced this player. This behavior is also commonly seen with Zed or Riven. Don't you wish something could be done about these players? Well, your salvation has finally arrived.

Recently a Singed main named "AdellaideSkyhart" has been causing a lot of stirrup in the community after he was suspended a few times and threatened with permaban because of his unique playstyle. Although Riot has responded saying that a permaban is clearly out of line, they still stand firm in their belief that Adellaide deserves suspension. Riot Gromp has stated that one of the major reasons for his suspension is that he "struggles to effectively communicate intentions and strategy to teammates".

This is what Adellaide posts in champion select of the games he participates in: "i take smite to invade the enemy jungle level 1 and also to take jungle camps throughout the game. after laning phase i'm just going to be split pushing, and sometimes the enemy team will chase me and I might die. Ideally you guys can utilize this distraction to get objectives(especially baron)". Here is a picture to back this up http://imgur.com/rT6GpI5.

This player communicates on a more thorough and frequent level than I personally have EVER seen in champ select. So obviously this player is communicating. Any "struggling to communicate" is on the other players' ends.

So how does this loop back around to those Yasuo/Zed/Riven instalock people? Well, it's where Riot said, when defending their decision to suspend, that "the line here is the player repeatably showing no flexibility in the face of resistance to their strategies". This basically states that if enough people don't like your playstyle, they must conform or face consequences. If we, as a community, report these instalockers, they would be falling straight into the same reasons Adellaide got suspended. Refusal to communicate? Well, we already covered that. It's bullshit. Going against your teammate's wishes? Yup. And if they repeatedly do this they will be suspended.

To finish this off, I would like to say that this doesn't apply to all Yasuo/Zed/Riven players. This is strictly aimed at the players who pick these champions into an unfit team composition and teammates who warn them against it. By Riot's reasoning in punishing Adellaid, these players are breaking the Summoner's Code and deserve punishment. And it's up to us to make sure it's brought to Lyte :^)
