What the title says pretty much. I played with one of the biggest assholes I have played with in quite awhile. He added me so I accepted to see what he was going to say to see if he had cooled down but apparently not. Here's a copy of the conversation haha. I removed his name out of respect but my goodness. Yeah I probably should just start muting. I generally don't like to just in case they actually say something relevant to the game but the chance of that happening seems to be getting less and less lately.

Mute everyone in the game. No toxicity until postgame chat. I hope the new client carries over the /mute all function into postgame chat.

Yeah It's looking like that's the best option lately. I don't like it too much cause I might miss something important but it would be better to see mindless toxicity all the time.

Honestly, due to the amount of toxicity from the community, I have the immediate assumption that everyone in the game, or the very vast majority of this community is toxic.

It's a bad assumption, but after 5 years of dealing with this toxic ingame community on a very near daily basis, I lost my tolerance for the community pretty much and started muting every single game. I normally see how toxic the game is at the postgame chat, and sadly, I see much more toxic postgame chat than silence this season. The community has definitely gotten worse since last season and has gotten exponentially worse since I started back in 2011.

I keep saying, /mute all is the most OP thing in this game. With the new smart pings, there's absolutely no reason to trade a single word with anybody anymore.

I don't even know haha. I went 4/7/6 but I mean that's not the worst I have ever done or anywhere near the worst I have ever seen. It was a bad game for me but I didn't know I was causing him to lose any game he has ever played haha.

I don't generally like mute because I like to see just in case they actually say something pertinent to the game. So instead I will usually just stay silent and don't generally talk in game but I might have to start doing it because usually I don't care but 40 straight minutes of it does start rubbing me the wrong way. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

I mean it was a 40 minute game but he didn't really start until he tried to gank and dove half health lucian and karma under turret around 10 minutes. Then he kept going the rest of the game and after as well hilariously. I feel like he may have had an aneurysm becaus eI don't really know why else he would have been that offended by me going 4/7/6.

This game is losing player and getting rid of players. I think they should stop perma banning people, in the last 4yrs I been playing I seen over 30 people get perma banned, my teams best mid player just got perma banned he spent a lot of money on this game which supports Riot and helps them pay their employee's and fund their charity program. Now he wont come back no matter how much we beg him. He doesnt want to grind out the long dreadful 30 levels and get all his runes and whatever. So, it stinks for us. I understand why he got banned because he was negative but in reality people should make better use of their mute or Riot should remove talking before it removes players. I have never been able to type and play anyways so I dont see the problem with it. When your highly invested in something your more likely to stick around so in a sense by perma banning these folks they are setting them free lol. Thats a bad buisness move, hopefully Riot generates all the income it needs from other things besides players buying things.
