I got banned for wifi problems
Why is this fair to players? I got a 10 minute probation for 5 games because my wifi disconnected in the beginning of a game..... like. What?

Considering the fact that your teammates has to deal in a 4v5 situation, be it the disconnection being on purpose or accidentally, I'd say it's fair you got punished.
Btw, if you mean you got permabanned, then it shows that you have been doing this a lot often. So it would still be fair since you refuse to fix the problem.
Because it wasn't your teams fault that they played 5v4 and you left games in the past too in order to get from 5 minute to 10 minute waiting time
I have to sit for 10 minutes before every game now. Cant I just take a 3 hour ban or something?
dont use wifi? Like seriously wifi is not good for gaming.
Wifi uses a protocol like TCP IP to verify packets are not being lost from your machine to the router. Then it will decrypt them to and then send them out as UDP cause TCP IP is horrible for gaming. If you lose a packet from computer to router (AND YOU WILL A LOT OF THEM) the computer is requested to resend the now junk data that is being thrown away. That is not to mention the fact that the wireless part of your router almost another machine and can have errors that do not effect the routing it self.
Riot has stated wifi is not the optimal setup and should not be used if their is a choice. Also if your internet goes out you would still get punishments anyways(if a constant problem). It is your choice to play on a sub standard system / set up.
So yes you deserve what you got.
I'd look for ways to fix your wifi, and internet services. Do that and you have better streaming, better ping, download, upload, and so on. It seems like solving that problem would fix the rest of them.
