this thread was inspired by the earlier one and I wanted to know which games if any have kept me from receiving honor once more.

Thats intended. If your honor was lowered due to a punishment, it will not be reset. It was announced about a month ago.

I think the trick is that the actual honors received at the end of games are a relatively small part of the equation. They may not have always been intended as such, but in practice post-game honors are more commonly awarded for good plays and carrying the game than they are for actual good sportsmanship and honorable conduct.

Low-key toxicity that isn't worth punishment can still keep you from climbing those levels. If you're serious about climbing honor levels, keep your chat positive or silent. Say please and thank you. If a teammate throws the game, remain silent and try to make up for it with your play.

Same.. I've been honor level 0 since the first month it was out lmao.. I get honors literally every game yet riot treats me like im stealing their bank account or something lmao

I mean it just sounds like Honor 0 is just real hard to get out of. I've been Honor 4 forever and get honors most games too.

I'm ok with Honor 0 (a place that it's not like you start there... you are put there for a reason) being hard to get out of. Makes people think twice about their own behavior if they want rewards. Then again making it hadr to get out of kind of removes incentive for improving your behavior. 1 coin... 2 sides.

Hard is good. But If I don't feel like I'm making any progress in spite of that little indicator that you were the most honorable person on your team and that everyone honored someone so you earned a little extra progress, there's a problem.

I think the lack of information at where you are at towards the next level is a big problem as well. I understand that Riot doesn't want you to min max shit with knowing where you are at... but at lvl 0... at least let them know where they are. Give them that goal. Just going and going and going without anything is .... not helpful.

Goals have to be achievable you know?

Good. Playing the game just to get an honor badge, is in itself, dishonorable. Just be yourself and play like you always have. People aren't honorable just to be rewarded for it. It's in your heart. xD
