Do intentional feeders actually get banned?

Or is Riot just trying to make us all feel better w/ a report option for intentional feeding? I had a Vayne/Fiddlesticks bot who in all honesty ran down bot and fed at least 7 kills before the 5 minute mark. They continued to do this for the rest of our short-lived game. When I asked them to stop feeding, they told me that "It's just a game, don't take it so seriously". Mind you this was ranked. If I want to have fun, I play norms. When I asked the Vayne why he fed intentionally, all he said was that he liked to troll on his "smurf" account for fun (he had 900+ games in low gold/silver elo).

So I asked myself, if this guy has trolled several games like this before, how come the reports haven't done anything? Does Riot really not take intentional feeders as seriously as toxic people? And why doesn't this sort of behavior warrant a permaban?

Yes. The reason you never see anyone post about it is because they know what they did wrong.

However, it is much harder to track and definitively prove that someone is actually doing it (and not just having a bad game). They have to establish a well defined pattern in order for Riotnto finally punish them, so as to make sure they don't punish someone innocent.

For chat based punishments, they have empirical evidence that what the player did was wrong, so they can set up a system to check for that

I think Riot don't punish them. I've seen some int people who only get restricted or banned because they're toxic in chat.

They don't. You can intentionally feed or AFK every other game and the worst you'll get is LPQ.

Feelsbad, because I'm losing games because of teammates that run down lane, die 5 times then AFK with no words typed.

There has been two cases of intentional feeder getting banned I have seen on forum.

To your other question that is what ALL reports are and that is what THIS part of forum is all about.

I reported person that sat all game "F you N" , "F you F" ect ect. Reported them they got 14 day ban. (how I know? They came to this section crying)

I played with a team that ran down straight to tower suiciding four man premade. No assists, no kills just ran all game.

Day later saw one of them, week later another.

There is somethings riot doesn't ban for.

I think they generally track where and how you died also having a very very high amount of deaths is also needed. I just recently saw a post where a person was banned for going 0/14 where most of his deaths were by jungle camps and he was the support. Though it is hard to track and Im fairly sure if someone just keeps running into a champ to be killed while never saying anything they will never receive a punishment. (sorry if this is to late to post btw)
