Banned for replying to premade flamers who flooded chat with bm/toxicity

I'm sick of this, because of Riot's Nazi automated system the second you reply you get chat banned. I don't want to be one of the people, but is this chat not fairly tame? The worst I said was they were sad & bad for flaming and bming a group with someone dced from the start. It's like these trolls just troll to get you to respond and then mass report you, and Riot's automated system apparently sees it fit to keep flamers lvl 30+ with ~800 wins going on, it's not like they're smurfs not roughed up by the system yet.

EVERY game I have just muted & reported these people because we get them EVERY game, the second the enemy team wins they just outright flame and trash-talk. And the one game I give a bit back in a mild way I get instantly banned. This is the ONLY chat log that led to my ban post-suspension. I was suspended a few months ago and have been watching my behavior, but in Riot's system it thinks one bad game in a few months=insta ban but apparently these guys play thousands of matches with their toxic behavior. I just don't get it, it's infuriating to play against these people and get punished for taking one jab at 3 people flooding chat with insults and curses from minute 1.

It always baffles me when I see chat logs THAT LONG in a single game, almost as if you play the game NOT to play the game itself but to bicker/argue with other people.

Fairly tame compared to what? Everything is fairly tame compared to death threats.

But compared to a sportsmanlike player this isn't great. I can definitely see why you would be punished for it.

They will get their punishment eventually. The second you start to "give it back" you open yourself up to punishment as well. Doesn't matter if you were "defending yourself" or if it was, in your mind, "mild". None of that matters. What matters is if what you said is against the rules.

It was and so you got punished.

Riot is trying to make everyone happy fluffy people, whether they like it or not.

 Having played since S1,  the tone of the game as improved dramatically. But taking the viewpoint that any negativity or criticism, or "unsportsmanlike conduct" is not merely bad, but punishable, is more or less insane.

 People used to accept a certain degree of banter/criticism/etc as part of the game, the lines were usually pretty clear as to what was ok and what wasn't.

 Now it seems anything not overtly friendly or super! fucking! positive! is considered punishable, which is nonsense. There's unpleasant, and there's harassment. Its usually pretty easy to tell which is which.

Asking for reports and threatening reports is punishable.

The bottom line though is that you are responsible for your actions. It doesn't matter what they say or do you are still responsible for your choices.

the system is worthless, i get flamed literally every game, i immediately mute everyone in the game when i enter and i say one thing like 'next time rotate' or 'don't walk into unwarded jungle' and i'm chat banned for 25 games <3 I will never use the chat feature in this game again, i already turned off all chat, there should just be a remove chat from game option, it's the only thing I ever have problems with. you try to help teammates out and teach them and suddenly you're a flamer, or you get flamed by your teammates constantly but they never get in trouble, only you. I immediately report anyone using racial slurs and they get no punishment. System doesn't work. Just give up using chat feature. I implore you to remove it from the game entirely. I'm working on a mod that removes chat entirely for all of existence cause Riot is filled with bad overpaid programmers. I've seen better programming by amateur school kids in fifth grade.

I would have said no, these isn't worth a chat restriction at all. Buuuut, then I saw that you're getting an e-boner over reporting others. You continue to bitch and bitch about the other team "bming you", yet you aren't intelligent enough to just mute. It makes you look like a dweeb and I agree with punishing you.

Also, this game didn't get you banned. 4 punishments get you banned. This was your 4th punishment.
