How RIOT Punishment System Actually Works: Play w/ Friends, Never Get a Ban!

So we solo Q'ers are all toxic and deserve a permaban obviously according to RIOT's system. Premades are allowed to do whatever they want to (including tilting and insulting their others, troll them, making their teammates lose their temper etc.) Since they will not get reported by their own friends, they will not get a ban. I'm not only talking about unranked blind pick games where people try to play Katarina jungle after watching some Nightblue3 videos on YouTube (unlike NB3, they die to red buff, not gank a single lane) and insult you when you tell that you need a gank; it happens in ranked games also. Some people pay for XP boosts after the new leveling system, pay for skins and champions, hextecs whatever. What I mean is people actually put some money in this game definitely NOT for this. At least I didn't. Why do I have to play with people like this? Trolling, feeding, insulting, being racist and toxic... When we say something against it, BOOM!, 14-days ban. It's ridiculous and needs changes. Actually many stuff needs to change to improve the game and community like servers, champions etc. But for me it's funny that calling someone "10 IQ moron" is enough to make you got banned but "motherf**ker boosted sh*t" is not. These kinda über-toxic people can still join a game, but I can't. Yeah, fair enough I guess...

I get where you're coming from, but the report system does not actually work based on volume of reports in a match. Each and every report results in that player's behavior being reviewed at the end of the match, whether it's 1 or 9. The review is not affected in any way by who or how many submitted the report, as long as at least 1 person reports a review will be triggered, and they will be punished (or not) depending on their behavior.

I'm a solo player, been so for a little more than 3 years. Never been punished for toxicity. How?

I'm just not an ass in game.

Premades are also not allowed to do whatever they want. If you get put with a toxic 4 man, and you report every single on of them, that counts as a report against them. If they acquire enough reports over time (which toxic premades generally do) they will be punished, and the enemy team can always report them too if they're being idiots in all chat.

If you decide to behave toxic for whatever reason, then you are also directly part of the problem. Imagine being on a team with a trio and another rando. The trio is toxic, and then in response you start behaving toxic. Now you just made the game even shittier for that one rando. Easiest thing to do is just mute and report at the end. Don't put yourself in a situation where you yourself can be punished, because that's on you. Nobody makes you behave toxic, that's your decision.

I have played with irl friends who have received punishments even tho I didn't report them. And we have never trolled our teammates.

I have a problem with this post. I do not know what friends know.

Since they will not get reported by their own friends, they will not get a ban.

Then report them so they can get banned?

Either that or you tell them that their behavior is unacceptable, if they don't change, stop playing with them.

This is news to me. Thank you. Are you talking about when you used to get those popups like "your past report flagged a player for negative behavior and they have continued to exhibit negative behavior in game. They have now been punished. Thanks for the assist." <--around this time?

I need to correct something please. Because I thought about it and realized you guys were partially wrong and partially right. The IFS was already live when report weight existed. You got the same type of popup for the most toxic players, sometimes 2 minutes after a game ended. This was 1-2 seasons ago when the new system went "live" and was being tuned. You got the same text for instant feedback (Yes it was live) but you also had report weight, and 'delayed feedback' for previous reports (sometimes done a week in before). I knew those were weighted. The IFS system still existed then. Just in training form.

And I thought reports were STILL weighted because I had someone call me a N*GGER (I'm black btw) and another banned word I won't say (extremely bad however) in the SAME GAME, I reported them and nothing happened. Nothing. According to that flowchart, since they typed two banned words as well as spammed chat REPEATEDLY with HORRIBLE negativity, they should have gotten a 14 day ban.

Nope. None.

Riot ban system is a joke. Will you get perma banned? I already got 14 day ban after talking kys to my teammates who troll me.
