Going AFK
I did not go AFK but still I was banned. This was for the 4th time. I don't understand why but riot needs to take look at this banning process. I think players are reporting unnecessarily .

"AFK" also includes idling, not assisting the team.
It also includes disconnecting for any reason.
Leavebuster, the system that punishes for such behavior, gives you a little wiggle room to allow for the occasional uncontrolled disconnect. But it's going to be pretty touchy if you're low level or if you already show a habit of leaving games.
