I am writing this email to you guys to talk about my permanent ban on my league of legends account. First of all this is ridiculous to give someone a permanent ban from their account which they have put the time and effort into this account and don’t forget the about of money I have put in this game and all this for being ‘toxic’ you guys have to be kidding me. The whole league of Legends community is ‘toxic’ I am sick and tired of this system you guys have placed. For example if I am playing in a normal solo game and I playing against a premade team and I get into an argument with one of their team mates so when the game ends the 5 man premade team report me, against my one report against there premade player and couple minuets later I am the one getting banned for something not that serious and nothing happening to the other player. 2nd thing there is no such thing as a ‘toxic free communitee’ there is not a single perfect gaming communitee out there .Most of us player are young teenagers and young adults. That means a lot of hormones going around as well, it is impossible to control a massive gaming a communitee from being toxic. 3rd and final point is that every person I see, every human, every soul I see and everywhere I go I will tell people to stay away from league of Legends because its not worth your time, effort and money because one day you can have your account and the next it could be gone in a instant and I swear on my life that I will keep this promise. I will not stop till my account is unbanned and I will change the way you guys operate and the way you guys communitee with your customers. You guys nothing but money driven and money hungry people, what ever happened to the honest and hard working man/women. This is not fair to me and to the other players who have had their account permanently banned. All this makes you guys look like is a money hungry organisation, you guys already make soooo much profit from just skins in your game. You guys are a billion dollar company and yet you guys can’t un-ban one account. This is the world we live in in now.

The system doesn't care about the number of reports. It literally checks a TRUE/FALSE statement for the question "was this player reported one or more times."

2nd thing there is no such thing as a "toxic free community" there is not a single perfect gaming community out there.

While true, this isn't a reason to give up and surrender to toxicity. There's no such thing as a crime free community either, but we still have laws.

You guys nothing but money driven and money hungry people, what ever happened to the honest and hard working man/women.

Banning players tends to reduce profits, not increase them. Contrary to popular belief a good portion of banned players either don't return or decide never to spend money again if they do return. Riot has INTENTIONALLY take this small loss in favor of building a better community. They're also very honest about it -- every time you agree to the Terms & Conditions the bit about money and how you lose access to content if banned is there, very plainly.

You had already spent that money, so was already money that Riot had. Every time they ban a player who spends money, however, there is a big chance that that player will stop playing or never spend money again. Had you not been banned and there is a strong chance you would have continued to purchase content, where is now I imagine you are unlikely to do so even if you do start playing League again.

Yeah but the money was spent on me and on my enjoyment its not a waste when I pay for something to get something out of it its a daylight robbery when I pay for something and get nothing in return

We aren't saying what you spend is a waste, and there is never a time when you spend money and don't get something in return (unless ofc there's a glitch in the payment system which I'm positive they'd be happy to correct). If you spend money on something and receive a skin or whatnot and then break the rules, you forfeit your purchased items for breaking the rules. It's a punishment, it's not supposed to be fun, however it is not robbery.

If you go to a movie theater, buy a ticket, and then start shouting insults at other members of the audience, you will be kicked out and you will not receive a refund for your ticket. If you go to Disneyland and you begin screaming at children, you will be banned from the park and you will not be given a refund for the airplane ticket, hotel stay, or weekend pass to the park.

Actions have consequences. The terms of use are very specific regarding what happens to purchases once you've lost your account, and you agreed to those each time you accepted the terms of use. This is not something exclusive to Riot, this is not something uncommon, and this is not something unfair. The fact that you have purchased the ability to use something on their service does not mean they are obligated to give you access to that service if you break the rules of that service.

Contrary to popular belief a good portion of banned players either don't return or decide never to spend money again if they do return.

I'm assuming English isn't your first language, but the phrase "contrary to popular belief" means that despite what a LOT of people think to be true, the opposite is actually correct. I'm just making an assumption based on some of your original post content and in no way mean to be offensive so please correct me if I'm wrong.

For that reason i would recommand not telling everyone you meet to not play leauge.

I started having to get smarter when making fun of perma banned people (hence the cashier thing up top) ever since nami forum banned me for a week for a single word.

The OP wrote a 5 paragraph essay about how evil riot was and my reply was "pwned"

Thats it 1 word and i left the thread.

Still grumpy about how thats ban worthy.

Omg I snorted again. I need to calm down but man it's kinda funny (sorry for your ban). Idk I just get heated hearing the same repetitive excuses and rants. And then, because the person is so heated they tend to insult you for your input (even if you were initially being nice) and I start getting my sassy pants on and then I look like an idiot for arguing with the kid. BUT I LOVE TO ARGUE WITH PEOPLE. But then again that's why I'm "toxic" because I won't take an insult sitting down. xD

Lol no problem ive adapted.

Me and the mods had some issues a couple of months back when they started getting really strict with the "dont be a jerk" forumn rule.

Got my self quite a few small forumn bans.

But i simply shit post smarter now.

Also i love arguing as well. Makes me happy when i make extremely angry people even angrier.

A useful note going forward -- the first rule of the Boards Universal Rules is "always be respectful to players, community members, moderators, and Rioters."

This applies even if you think their punishment is deserved, and even if they're being rude to you.

I understand, but am I allowed to put on my "listen here you little shit" pants and do a full essay of "I've been there done that stop arguing" kinda thing? Or is this generally frowned upon. (Despite being as nice as possible however firm in your comments?).

Ah -- apologies. I meant to reply to Jorencice -- I think the comment chain has started to break.

Polite, respectful comments are always allowed, even when they're very firm. I do it myself a lot -- sometimes the situation really IS just "this is the way it is. Sorry if you don't like it."

Oh no I understood who you were replying to, I was just asking for personal clarification. :) All things are good. I was just curious because the other day I admittedly got heated on a board and I wrote something along the lines of "you're bronze because you deserve bronze" and realized that probably sounds rude, but... it's also the truth even if you don't want to hear it. Was one of those "I've been there, trust me my dude, sounds bad but it's true".

It would of dropped to the bottom of the chat chain and been forgotten causing no harm to anyone.

Hell i wasnt even in the habit of joining "im permabanned convos" at the time it was a one off thing. But now thanks to nami i legit go out of my way to hunt down permaban threads if im online.

I mean cmon we used to have literal pages of people going.

You still can't. I'm not actually sure that response would have been a problem in general discussion (you'd have to ask the wardens there) but in Player Behavior where tensions run high and people are often looking for actual feedback, it's a slightly different situation.

Nah GD isnt GD anymore ever since they forced it to go public.

Might as well have erased it entirely as the whole point of it was to have lax rules.

And i dont remeber them asking us if thats what we wanted. Just some BS (oh it will make more people join) excuse.

Anyone who was meant to be on GD would eventually find GD we didnt need to be more accessible.

Just because you asked nicely doesn't mean they are obligated to give it back. You clearly broke rules substantially and got a quick ban or you did many things that eventually turned into a full fledged ban. Because of this they probably shouldn't give your account back. By asking nicely you aren't entitled to your way.
