riot, please i understand i did wrong okay? i'm sorry i really just need to learn to keep my feelings to my self please this isn't fair at all i was banned for 14 days a few months ago and now i'm permanently banned i thought there were suppose to be 2 warnings and then a permanent ban. that's what i read anyways. but it just skipped into the permanent ban please i JUST SPENT 40$ AND PUT IT ON MY ACCOUNT i'm willing to take the 30 day suspension i was suppose to take because i wasn't given it please riot. I'll even take a permanent chat ban.

I agree with you on that. The biggest problem for players that get banned for what you did, is the chat. Often they'll spend more time typing than playing so taking that privilege away should fix their problem. The chat ban would have to carry over into the post game lobby as well to prevent possible hate speech.

You didn't learn from a 14 day ban. What exactly would make Riot think you would learn if they disabled your ability to communicate with your team.

You ignored a pretty clear warning, and so they escalated the punishment. Good luck on your next account.

honestly though i dont think being toxic or rude should be enough to be permanantly banned someonthing like hacking or cheating or something like that should be but this? this is normal everyone trash talks in all the sports and when someone is frustrated clearly they over react and do thing they regret a simple chat ban would be better than banning the account honestly it would help clean the community better thatn just getting banned becuase im just gunna make another account and keep talking shit? but if i get permanent chat ban wtf am i gunna do? i cant talk so i cant talk shit ill just be forced to play the game and deal with it.

Hacking or cheating will get you permabanned outright. Being an asshole will only start you down that path. You have to really not learn when Riot keeps giving you punishments in order to reach the end of that path.

They don't want to keep you from being toxic, they want you to learn. I know, it's a bold move trying to teach people to behave themselves, and they might not be taking the best approach to it, but I'm happy they are at least trying.

Maybe people will figure out how to be decent human beings one day.

i'm a decent human being don't say i'm not if you don't know me. i just have a short temper and i hate losing so naturally i would be upset when things don't go my way. but this hasn't taught me anything since i got banned i just played a game and the players in that game were even more toxic than me,but i bet non of them are going to be banned. i'm not even upset about the whole i got banned i can't play part of it i'm upset about the whole i just lost 400$ on that account and about half my year. how is this in anyway fair? if you were on the other end you would clearly be upset aswell.

The way I read that is "I'm a decent human being, unless I'm mad". Yes I know you didn't say it, and I won't claim you did, but that's how it comes across to me.

Not everyone has full control over their temper, but everyone does have the choice to be a dick to their team. Never forget the difference between defending yourself and retaliation.

Defending yourself protects you, where as retaliation harms others as you have been harmed. Can you really say you made the right decision in those games?

Honestly,yes those guys were assholes to me so i reacted the way i felt was appropriate,and when i stopped talking or just forgot about it they just kept bringing it up,and its extremely unfair because people like them abuse the tribunal system.

They are not abusing the punishment system, they are abusing you. You were done talking, all you had to do was mute them, but you decided not to.

You could have avoided this. You didn't need to protect your ego from some random people on the internet. All you had to do was actually defend yourself by pressing the mute button.

This type of thread has been made dozens of times. When will people get it through their heads, retaliation is just as bad as starting the name calling. You made the choice to start fighting back. Own up to that choice. You were given warnings, you ignored said warnings. Rather than complain on the boards maybe try to learn from your mistakes and try to get your temper under control. A short temper will cause more harm than good in every aspect of your life so it can only be good to learn to control it. Best of luck on your next account, I hope you learn your lesson and become a more positive than negative member of the community.

I mean...how much money did you lose? Cause that's the main detriment. How much time did you lose, how much IP did you build? Those are also losses. Banning may not stop you from playing the game but it does just burn a lot of time and money, depending how much of both you spent. Probably better off playing Overwatch or HotS tbh. Community there isn't as bad I hear so you won't be as easily triggered, since it sounds like you have no interest in learning to control your temper.

Cool, those are your consequences for not taking the multiple warnings or the Terms of Service seriously. You lose all of that, straight up. Now you get to choose to either learn from your mistakes and try starting a new account, or moving on to a different game. Good luck either way.

because the ban on a compelte account for toxic behavior isnt fair at all. youre punishing and taking away all my hard work and well earned money because i cant keep my mouth shut? why dont you just shut my mouth and not allow me to type instead of completely ruining everything ive worked so hard to acheive?

Probably because people that aren't even able to control themselves from being toxic in chat, will resort to other toxic behavior when unable to chat to convey their toxicity via chat. Seems unlikely that a toxic player will just say "gee I'm really mad at my team, but since I can't use chat, I'll simply do my best and act in a positive manner." More likely they'll resort to feeding, spam pings, going AFK, rage quitting, just trolling in general in lieu of the ability to rage in chat. Just a guess.

If the fact that you invested over $400 into your account wasn't enough to keep you in line, I don't know what will. I personally prefer to keep what I've spent my money on, so I don't do anything to jeopardize it.

You titled this not being fair, then opened the thread by saying that you understood you did wrong. Seems like you DO understand that it's fair.

Seeing your post, you have been had several warnings before (even the most extreme warning, the 14 days ban), I'm afraid that toxicity related bans are 99% of the time irreversible, so I wouldn't hold my breath about recovering your account if I were you.
