So Riot. When is something going to be done about Diamond 5?

I dont know whether any rioters play in and around diamond 5 on EUW (at least) but if there is anything about this game that highlights the inadequacy of riots player punishment systems its low Diamond.

Tbh I dont even play on my diamond account anymore, its just far too toxic. Every game one team has someone who rage trolls or rage quits while flinging out streams of obscenities at their team.

Today, however, I thought Id get on my diamond account and play a game, having largely forgotten how utterly toxic and shit the game is at this level.

Within 7 minutes my support was mid and my adc was top. They had both told each other to kill each other multiple times. I tried to focus the team but they were far more interested in typing the entire game.

Its known that low diamond is absolutely the worst elo. Do riot have any plans whatsoever to make it an even remotely pleasurable experience, by banning the absolute pond life that exist there?

In the meantime Ill just smurf around gold, probably making other peoples games rubbish as I go 20-3-17 or whatever but if I want to play this game, with low diamond as it is, smurfing is the only option I have.
