so I reported this three qued up team and basiclly they started being toxic right off the bat before the game even started. Ignored... then they keep being toxic to this bot lane Soraka that is 1v2ing because they said she autolocked and basically wanted to punish her for that, leaving her 1v2 the three man which decided to go top and just be in a lane together. continuing being toxic to I and the support and I haven't done anything but kinda struggling mid because there just being so toxic to this Soraka while I am fighting and after that I finally had enough and decided to defend Soraka a bit and tell them hey man I am going to report you guys for being toxic and leaving bot lane to fend in 1v2 and flaming her for it. In my eyes that's just messed up because what can a Soraka support really do? Anyways so the game continues and I ignore them but there pushing my buttons and I am basically ignoring them and telling them okay keep being toxic you know perma's are real and ban's are real and threatened me with comments like " Bans don't even work " and " There's three of us and one of you " basically implying that I am gonna get banned and not them because they had more people to report me on. I told them that is fine because I trust in the report system and I believed it actually worked and told them that I am not gonna get banned because you cannot be reported and banned for not being toxic in a game and telling them that it is fine to report me. Ha was that a mistake because I actually got reported and banned for not being toxic...

I know I am not getting my account back but it's good to see the failure of the report system and was just wondering if anyone else has been through something similar? Another funny thing is that they showed the chat that they copy and not one word or anything was toxic in anything I typed or said.

Bravo Riot because your report system is flawed. It's about numbers not toxicity?

It's not about how many of them reported you; all reports do is get your behavior reviewed from that match. More reports don't make it check harder, and every report triggers that review; in other words, multiple reports in one match don't matter. What does matter is the frequency and severity of your behavior, so if you are often a negative or abusive player, you'll eventually get punished for it (and if your behavior is extreme, that'll be sooner rather than later, and you may skip punishment tiers).

I recommend posting the chat logs you received. While their behavior by your account seems abusive and they are probably on their way to being punished if they keep it up, you shouldn't be engaging them with threats of reports or accusing them of toxic behavior; you should just mute and report them. I get the urge to defend a player being harassed, but just tell them to do the same thing and mute so you guys can focus on the match at hand.
