I haven't played in over 7 years and I come back to the game telling me I've been banned for cheating, can my account even be recovered at this point? I'm assuming someone got access to my account somewhere.
Edit: they fixed my account and I created a new password by slamming my head on my keyboard so hopefully it's strong enough now. Thank you for your help and responses and the quick fix by league staff.

That sucks man. I hope you can get your account back so you can get back to playing league. I also hope that if it was someone, that a** gets a perma ban
Did you leave a marker on your keyboard so you know exactly where to slam your head next time?
Same thing happened to me, logged in yesterday after the patch to play URF with friends and said I got banned for 3rd party software and Botting. I have a 49% winrate in ranked, I am clearly not botting xD
