TOXIC is it as bad as people say it is?

So I am going to make it short and sweet. Get rid of the honor system, take away bans, sticks and stones wont break your bones but names will always hurt you. What is wrong with this generation of sensitive degenerates. Play Counter-strike global offense COD black ops. If you don't want to see nasty words shut your chat off. If you cant handle that you suck shut off your chat. If you cant handle other criticisms then maybe you shouldn't come out of your house . If you play anything competitive and you fail your team your not going to get a will get them next time buddy. If riot is worried that little children are going to see these words then maybe riot should pick skins that don't show women s tits and ass.

Oh... I thought you were going to be asking if the game was as toxic as people claim, but in stead you're one of the toxic people who is just sick of being banned for being a jerk. Sorry, nope. Riot's not going to stop banning you for being a jerk until you stop being a jerk.

Your argument of "if you can't handle it, just stop playing" is a double-edged sword. Just the same as you can use it to tell people that they shouldn't play League if they can't handle flame or asshole-ish behavior, so too can I tell you this;

If you don't want to get punished and eventually banned, stop breaking the rules. If you can't handle Riot's criticisms on your behavior, then maybe you shouldn't be misbehaving in their game. If you play anything competitive and start turning on your teammates, you're not going to get a "yeah it's cool you just got competitive spirit" - you're going to get punished. Don't like it? Don't play.

Also, nice non-sequitur with the skins comment.

What's wrong with your generation of disrespectful ingrates? Why do you all have delusions of grandeur, thinking that they are the best and know what's best? If you can't handle basic decorum, stay off multiplayer games. If you want to scream at other characters, play single player games, then you can scream all you want at your television.

People have been trying to equate this game (and other video games) to sports, but until the same kind of sportsmanship occurs, I hope that this game is always looked down upon. It's not ready for the big leagues.

People who flame and are immature douches in chat generally play like douches and hurt their team too. Not without fail, but there's a pretty strong correlation.

I wish there were more emphasis on punishing players who troll their team through their gameplay rather than saying naughty things, but it's a lot easier for them to pull up chat logs and have proof than trying to determine whether someone is actually toxic or just bad when it comes to their gameplay.

What do you mean by "toxic"? Because "toxic" can be doing things like inting,trolling,griefing,afking -- its not limited to chat.

Gameplay toxicity(inting, trolling etc) is as bad as people say it is. A lot of players are competitive and like winning, so when someone is inting/trolling it makes the likelihood of loosing a lot greater. So its only natural that those players dislike gameplay toxicity.

Chat toxicity is not as bad as people say it is. Simply because there is a mute button and you can ignore verbally toxic text.

Riot removes negative act from the game since it doesn't benefit the game in any way. On the contrary it brings game quality down and drives people to play far worse. If you can't see that yourself then you are clearly delusional.

And to top it off as I thought... Looks like we have a winner folks... pansies everywhere trying to ban each other. All I have to say is Boobs and Tits, riot does what riot wants. There is a point to ill never get banned, plus riot has sexual assault cases going on all the time .

Some people say its really bad, and I disagree with that. Toxicity is just annoying, frustrating, a bit ummm confusing at times lol. As a 32 year old man, I've never taken any bit of flaming personally. People dont know you. It doesnt hurt my feelings when people anonymously insult their imaginary version of me. But boy is it great that Riot bans for it xD not because i need my feelings protected, but because douchebags are annoying to me and its hilarious when they get banned. Who cares that much about a game that they brag and insult others ability to play it? What a bunch of fucking nerds. So yeah, I love it when they get punished by Rito.

And its weird you think its generational, because some of the most toxic ones are younger kids, like 12-19 years old. So whats generation got to do with it?
