TL;DR I have complaints. Just leave if all you have to say is "stop playing the game."

I'm not sure where to put this as I don't use forums ever. Say what you want about how I wrote this, I don't care anymore. I'm following up with this nice man's suggestion and putting this out in the open for discussion. It pains me that one of my most favorite games ever is also one of my most hated all because of some silly, bad people who can't keep their mouth shut unless they don't have anything vitriolic and venomous to spit at people for the most absolute trivial reasons. The fact they represent the FACE and sometime seemingly the MAJORITY of this game's community just makes me actually cry internally. I'm sick and tired of being blamed for literally anything in this game, whether it's absolutely ridiculous or actually right, because no one ever bothers to be civil to me about it. No one ever wants to treat me like a fucking human being and I hate it. I honestly wouldn't even mind if Riot just got rid of the entire chat system altogether and left pings in the game. Or even somehow replaced it with a voice only system, although that would probably be hard as fuck to implement so I'm not expecting much.

I want Riot to do something about this because as far as I can tell it doesn't seem like they are. They're making minor fixes and tinkering here and there, but aside from that nothing seems to be happening. I have no idea how responsive Riot is to player feedback when it's NOT related to the actual gameplay and all those fancy values and lines of code that they have to constantly tinker with, but it doesn't seem like they are. I also have never expected anyone to care about my problems or feelings in my life, as no one seems to ever bother responding to my complaints like this one right here. But that was a long time ago, and I've sorted out those personal problems of mine, so let's just pretend I didn't even say that.

If anyone has a better idea than me, or if I could even get a response from a Riot employee, maybe even that hopelessly idealistic Riot Lyte or somebody of importance, that would be just wonderful. And if you're response to me is to stop playing the game, just leave. Go, I have no interest in discussing anything with you if that's all you have to offer me. Cause if I really hated the game that much, you think I'd honestly keep playing it and enjoying it to this day?

Any and all feedback to this post is greatly and highly appreciated. Thank you.

(I apologize to the moderators as the first time I posted it only loaded the "Help & Support" board as an option, which seemed fine to me at the time. Hopefully this one is the correct board to post to).

I like the idea of being more strict, with only third chances. We'd have so fewer trolls.

Everyone's problem seems to be there's no instant gratification on knowing your report has been vindicated.

This is why my girlfriend quite playing after she had an emotional breakdown when everyone trash talked her and i had to spend half an hour defending her because she went 0/6 as a support. as a support. and she's level 12. this community has become the MOST toxic thing i have ever taken part in in my entire life. and it truly bothers me. back at the beginning of season 3 when i started, these people were 1/200 and you always had people having fun and laughing it off. if someone trolled we would all just troll with him or laugh at him and accept the loss. now people take trolling or having fun or anything except being a try as hell hard as a personal insult to their gigantic massive ego. that 1/200 is now more like 1/5. at least. i'd rather say 1/3 or 1/2. I love this game when it's fun and people don't trash talk each other. even when they just aren't talking at all is great. but the second you see "report" in the chat box all hopes are lost and it becomes an abusive shit fest. There's not much you can do since easily over half the community is now more toxic than the pollution our earth has been put through lately.

I sincerely feel like League’s community is steadily getting better. I know that the community still sucks, but it will get better over time as more awareness is being placed upon League’s issues. Remember this: Even if there is just one guy out of ten people who is toxic and he’s on your team, you will remember that game as negative as a whole. I feel like eventually with the buffered reform system Riot is promising, the community will be in ship-shape eventually.

Y'know, I have no problem with form letters in general, but is anyone else bothered by the fact that the Support response directs him to the old TBI forum, rather than... well... any of the boards?

I realize this is unrelated to the discussion at large, but it's more than a little disturbing to me.
