Hello,

I got a 10 game chat restriction after my most recent ranked game and I am assuming because I said "Fuck you" once in the game because support, ADC and mid were flaming me. (chat log at the end of this post). I would like to also mention that I don't care I got chat restricted. I'm not really looking to withdraw the restriction. It would be nice but really don't care. just want to know what's the logic behind this.

Also, I have submitted a ticket request so if I get anything interesting from them ill post it here later.

Some back story: In champ select, support hovered kayle and immediately, top, mid and ADC, started arguing with support and saying they will all report her because kayle isn't a real supp and etc and that we already lost the game... I wish they would give me the full chat log for everyone but they don't.

In champ select, I tried to lore the conversation away from the support situation and so I said that oh they banned my Yi and etc.. but they kept going at it so I jokingly said someone dodge since yall already fighting.

Then in-game, top lane started dying a few times in a row and mid, adc and supp started flaming him and trash talking saying like how he is "turbo feeding" and saying making fun of his sums. I didn't say anything to anyone or take any sides until towards the end of the game.

at some point, top was 0/4, mid was 0/1, supp was 0/2/0 and adc was 0/2 and I was 0/0/0 didn't say anything but then I tried to gank top a few times and udyr came so we died and I went 0/3 in a few minutes and then mid, supp, and adc started flaming me too like top as if they were doing any better and this is where I told mid lane "fuck you" because she was flaming everyone all game and at the moment she was bugging me the most. and somewhere in there, I said "so u have to sit through this and suffer" that was because jinx asked why I said no to ff and I said because u guys are flaming each other all game and I basically wanted them to sit through the game as punishment for being toxic.

and well there isn't anything special in post-game chat other than me explaining why I wasn't and never was or will be trolling in a game. No swear words or anything special. ( actually, I just said "move the fuck on" that was the only sentence with a swear word.

So, I'm wondering, what is the logic behind this. I don't understand why I got chat restricted. for saying "fuck you" to someone once? in post-game chat when we were talking, I reported mid, adc and supp and I got a instant feedback report for one of them. (I think it was for mid because his/her name was TL liquid and a couple of minutes later I got a friend request from someone called TL Dynasty and I accepted but they just blocked me a few seconds later but in their status message was "another account banned" so there is that) so yes one of them got banned (mid) but what about the other 2 who were saying horrible stuff all game they don't get banned? and I get punished for saying "fuck you" once? It's like going to court and being accused of a bunch of things and not being able to defend your self cus if you do you get even more charges??? mid's status message was "another account banned" this is all he/she is doing all day every day. flaming people and getting alt accounts banned. then I'm here saying fuck you once for someone ruining my day by flaming nonstop and I get punished.

The reason I'm mad at this is because this is the second time I'm being falsely punished by the instant feedback system.

P.S: there is somewhere I'm saying I'm not duoing with top. that was because they thought we are duo. also somehere im saying im being held hostage. thats kayle declining ff request at 15 min. vote was 4 to 1.

ONLY THINGS I ALTERED IN CHAT LOG ARE THE MISS SPELLINGS THAT I TYPED SINCE I WAS TYPING FAST IN GAME. You just have to take my word for it.

also if you try to look up my cousin you cant cus the "I" in his name is special character which I couldn't type while in game.

UPDATE: Riot just sends out a automated generic response to the player behavior tickets. So, nothing from them!

  1. Reports don't stack.
  2. False reports are thrashed.
  3. Your actions are the cause of your punishments.

none of the above lines are helpful or productive towards helping your team win the game, and the majority of them are insults (even if minor, they add up)

this would warrant a chat restriction IMO

The core of Riot's behavioral system runs on the following formula: punishment = consistency x severity.

Meaning you can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or 100 games of mild toxicity.

Your chatlogs I would rate the severity level of 5/100? So if you've entered into the game with a behavioral toxicity history of 95/100, then this game will be enough to put you over the threshold and punish you.

Yeah no. False reports don't actually do anything, only reports that are actually correct will deal a punishment.

All of this seems pretty much a good reason for a punishment to be dealt. You're saying they are being toxic to you, yet you continually fight back. The best thing to do is just mute and move on when something starts to happen. Continuing to go on with it in game is just derailing the game and not helping anyone.

You assume wrong. You did not a restriction because you said a swear.

People are not allowed to come into the service and abuse the functions to disrupt games and argue with other customers. If a player has a history of this, they will be issued a chat restriction written notice to remind them that this is not allowed.

You have a history of arguing and so you are given a recent example of that and a message asking you to cease. That is what this is.

I mean, I wouldnt want to hear you talk in one of my games. I literally just had to deal with a rengar jungle that acted the same way you did, didnt like it. Why is it always the jungler?

I see a lot of pointless argueing that you should have been muted. Continuing an arguement that does not help anyone or anything, along with various other things... makes it so yes, it is a valid restriction.

"Do not ask other players in the match to report the offending player. It only takes one report for our systems to review a game. Additional reports will not do anything for the offending player; however as mentioned above, it could open yourself up to a report of your own; especially if you are derailing the match by constantly demanding reports of other players."

You gotta drop the (completely normal) concept that context matters. They dont have time to look at context and dismiss people due to it being justified by "he didnt START it". Just dont break the rules under any circumstance. Muting is the only option you have for defending yourself. At least you can learn from this without getting to a permaban first.
