reporting because you aren't grouped

is this even possible, sure you can report them for assisting enemy team, but how? it says in rules you dont need to follow a certain playstyle so if you choose to splitpush away from a toxic, bad orientated team fight, what should you be punished with other than losing the game? Is there something out there to stop false reports? and do false rpeorts get punished as well?

I'm pretty sure the false reports of people not helping the team against a group don't get taken seriously. I have yet to be banned and I basically only split push whenever I see a group of players that I know are together and I know are flaming. Unfortunately this happens all to often. At the end of the day, thank tyler1 for putting more and more of these players in your game.

A lot of times it's better to be in that bad team fight. Even gold teams will feed it down mid during a split push.

I lost a game last night cause I split pushed at the right time and my team couldn't wait thirty seconds for their top to come chase me even with retreat pings and fed it down mid 4v5.

Very frustrating, you have to be very careful with split pushing in low elo.

If people say they are going to report someone for something that is not actually an infraction of the rules, what they themselves are doing is an infraction of the rules. I always report those people for unsportsmanlike conduct. Most of the time that type of player is also abusive to their teammates, so I report them for that too. Don't argue about it, don't tell them what you are going to do, just report their behavior after the match.
