Does paying for someone to queue with me go against the TOS?

Yes or no? I heard some people consider that the same as elo boost but it`s obviously not because you are the one playing on your account.

Not asking if its morally wrong, but rather if its a bannable or even an offense at all to the summoners code.

I can tell you that we are currently under direction by Riot to remove posts regarding paid services in relation to accounts, whether it's coaching or boosting.

I wouldn't recommend it based on that as it puts your account in jeopardy.

It is not bannable to duo with someone. paid or unpaid.

However, It probably wasn't a good idea to come shout it out on the boards... How would they have ever known you paid someone to duo with you without you telling them???

People consider it to be the same thing as getting boosted, however Riot does not as you are still playing your account. Therefore, as the ToS is currently worded you are 100% fine doing this. Riot might change their stance on this in the future but until then go ahead.

It's impossible to tell since Riot seems to have a double standard on this. Their mods are directed to remove posts requesting or advertising paying for dynamic team up services. But they'll straight up watch streams where the streamers play with people for payment and not reprimand it.
