Punishments, Deterrents and making this game playable.

I'm really frustrated with this game, and i've just seen others with similar posts; it's almost certainly been happening for years.

Are there really THAT many players on LoL that are immature/selfish/trolls that i encounter them so regularly? Or is it more likely that there is little to no punishment/detterent for these players for their behaviour? I'm talking about flaming, being aggressive, leaving games, deliberately trolling and giving up.

For me, if you queue up for ranked you should be ready and 100% committed to playing the game all the way through, obviously there can be occassional unforseen circumstances and that's a different issue. But idk especially lately it is SO RARE TO GET A GOOD GAME OF LoL. There are aggressive children abusing pings, shouting and cussing and blaming and all the rest, but most of all if you lose even 1 member of your 5 man team it's basically 30/40 minutes of your time wasted and you lose that precious LP that you WORKED SO HARD FOR LAST GAME. Straight down the toilet. Because of ONE person.

The only reason I can think of why Riot is not doing a damn thing about it, is because they feel that banning people and actually ENFORCING their summoners code, will stop money coming from that person. This is probably true to some degree. But think of how much more money you would get from mature people who have money to spend, who respect the game and have a good time playing it - and therefor are more likely to justify spending money on the game. They also respect others and treat them with decency and EVERYONE has a much better user experience. These people are leaving your game because it's completely insufferable. You are saturating your game with young aggressive children with NO BOUNDARIES, because there is NO ENFORCEMENT and NO CONSEQUENCES, which mean their behaviour NEVER CHANGES. I'm sure everyone knows what this feels like - when you get a GG and everyone tries hard and has a good time and it feels great. But that is SO rare now. So rare that im spending my Sunday afternoon instead of doing anything else, actually typing onto a forum idk if anyone will notice or care or if it will change anything. That's how bad the state of your game is Riot.

Could I suggest a more in-depth and FOLLOWED UP ON reporting system?

If a player regularly gets voted to - Abuse his pings aggressively/frequently spamming, you first send him a message and allow him 2 pings per 10 seconds (for example) ... if it keeps happening you ban his pings for a week ... then a month etc. This can all be easily automated?

And exactly the same idea for aggressive chat behaviour, give them a chat ban and give them an icon which lets others know they have been this, or that and they cannot talk/ping - CONSEQUENCES

IF THEY ABUSE IT THEY LOSE IT!

I hate that I have to mute all every game, because of the threat of 1 ignorant person tilting me with even 1 sentence, or spamming pings which gets on my nerves. Because fundamentally this ISOLATES people from each other, and it means I am missing out on the few gems who have a great attitude and a good sense of humor and make this game much MORE ENJOYABLE. Again, all because of potentially, 1 person. It's a huge flaw in the game and it is driving people away.

and I'll risk this sounding a bit totalitarian - put all of the flamers and ragers and quitters etc together in a lobby, so they can shout and belittle and bully and scream and rage at each other. They can spam ping each other all day if that is what they want. But let others who are respectful and just want to PLAY THE GAME ..!!! .. queue up with each other. If you want to get out of that lobby and back into the big boys lobby, then you got to BEHAVE and be CIVIL.

Please do something Riot, your game in just the short time I've been playing it, feels like it has been overrun. It feels like it's lost its SOUL
