Wait Time

Okay, so the leaver punishment is to wait twenty minutes before each queue, I get that. Five times? Perfectly fair. You account for each person who's time you wasted. I went to take a dump and it turns out that's when my game popped, prompting me to click. I literally hopped out of my bathroom clenching my cheeks with my pants around my ankles to try and click accept, but I'm sure it won't come as a shock to most of you that I didn't make it. I've come to find that me waiting that twenty minutes doesn't spill over, nor does it apply to my next game. You either accept, or you have to repeat the wait. Keep in mind I sat in front of my computer doing nothing for the majority of this wait time, but when nature calls, I think we can all agree that it takes precedent. In my humble opinion, I think that this should be addressed. I waited the full twenty minutes, so I should either be deducted one match worth of wait time, or I should be able to queue up regularly. Am I the only one that thinks this? I'm searching for genuine opinions, nothing that puts me down, as I'm sure a lot of you are now readying yourselves for. I've played this game for a long time and I think that this is seriously unfair.

I personally wish the penalty was greater for AFKs. Only way to get people to stop doing it intentionally.

Nope. Then you could click find match and go to sleep, to the store, taco bell etc and dodge the punishment.

You're really trying to say that me taking a nap, going to the store, or picking up food would bring me home in under twenty minutes? That's exactly my point. I've tried to do things to pass the time and have missed it on several occasions, I'm not blaming Riot or anyone else, I can acknowledge when I fucked up. I think you've all genuinely missed my point here.

To be honest, if the penalty was an hour, that would give me time to actually commit to something instead of sitting in front of my computer scrolling over the same page of social media the entire time. Can't say I'm against that.
