I'm tired of Verbal Abusers Reporting

I'm Sick of people who can speak exactly how they want call me things and can say whatever, but the minute you respond to some one to tell them to stop or be quiet, you're chat restricted. In the Past 7 day I've been chat restricted twice due to player with a horrible attitude berating and downing team and enemy alike. If you send it a Verbal Abuse report you should also Automatically be Reviewed as well. If this already happens it isn't working. If this doesn't exist it should. I'm tired of a community being controlled by the weak minded and weak willed that will Spout hate speech and filth in game chat, some one puts them in their place and that person is Chat restricted but probably not the reporter themselves. In total I will have be chat restricted for 35 games in which i was not vulgar or perverse being reported by people who are the main Offenders. This abuse reporting system of Chat restrictions is flawed, it must only look at the amount of complaints against you, search nothing of the reporting players chat log, wrongfully punishing people who haven't offended enough to be punished in even a class room type setting. Online interactions can not be rated. SO if I ask or tell a toxic player to be quiet or shut up or a little insult after they pop off about something and you respond "eat me" and then mute them. I'm the one that is chat restricted. This system only punishes the reported player. Not the reporting play as well THE REPORTING PLAYER SHOULD ALSO BE VIEWED FOR THE SAME REPORT THEY SEND IN CONCERNING ABUSE. THEY ALSO STATE THAT A PAST OF GOOD DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR A NOW OR FUTURE OF BEING RUDE, IF THAT IS THE CASE THEN IF YOU REPORT SOME ONE FOR AFK FEEDING OR ANY OTHER OFFENSE IF YOU'VE COMMITTED THE OFFENSE WITH IN THE SAME TIME THEY CAN SIGHT YOU BACK TO PAST BEHAVIOR THE REPORTING PLAYER SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO THE SAME REPRIMAND THE REPORTED PLAYER GETS IF THEY ARE ALSO AT FAULT AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mute

Report

And try to move on.

It only takes a single report for the game to be reviewed, regardless of who is doing the reporting. In addition, only the first report matters. All extra reports are irrelevant. This means you have the ability to have the system look at the other player. Your report matters. Mute, report, and move on.

Show me your chat logs, maybe we can tell you what got you punished. Telling someone to stop or be quiet isn't punishable, unless you are flaming them in order to try to get them to stop or be quiet...

Hopefully this becomes a permaban to teach you it's wrong to be toxic.

Good riddance

If i'm in an online game where all chat history is saved And i'm offending the same rules i'm reporting some one for i should be punished no matter what. End of story. This isn't real life it is bytes and bits of data all saved and neatly time stamped. If you're telling me they don't look at the reporting person's chat log as well then the system is flawed in need or reform because it is only protecting the offenders and the dishonest

Going to start a new comment thread as the old one is getting close to being unreadable (the software won't be able to display it nested after a few more replies):

No, it is not. It is protecting those players who would worry every time they report "oh shit did I do something bad that game". By the end of game screen, players won't be able to remember everything they said in game. If Riot said "hey look, if you report, your behavior gets looked at as well", they won't report the player who told them to go kill themselves because they'll be scared that maybe they slipped up and said something that game.

Riot uses the report feature to determine what behavior is unacceptable. Your behavior was reported in all of three games. If the other player did not get any reports, Riot assumes their behavior was considered acceptable by everyone involved and does not punish that player. If you do not report, Riot will not punish someone.

I will say it again to make it clear: Riot will not punish someone unless they are reported. If nobody reports a player, it is assumed their actions were not overly offensive or inappropriate. If nobody reports a player, it is assumed that all involved were okay with the chat, and players should not be punished if nobody in the game cared enough to report them.

I refuse to be a "policeman" in game that Is world wide famous and makes countless millions to do an employees job for them. If you are offended easy you should be the one removed from the chat automatically muting them in certain key words are said. The fact you stick around to hear the verbal abuse is you consenting that is ok to speak that way other wise you'd have muted them the first time. but that isn't a good idea it is a team game and you need to communicate. FLAWED SYSTEM
