New player experience in Coop VS AI

Hi,

I'm grinding a secondary account at moment and I'm doing the leveling through Intermediate Coop vs AI 5v5. I had already leveled some smurfs up one or two years ago and it seems the botting problems are even worse than before. I remember having usually 2 leveling bots in those games before but currently I get 3 leveling bot most of the time with me (sometimes 2 or 4). If you are an experienced player you can still easily win 2v5 or 1v5 (it even makes Coop vs AI challenging) but let's think about the new players.

How can a new player with no MOBA experience enjoy his first league games with 3 leveling bots with him that feed the AI ? In my games which were wins I saw some new players desperately pinging, tilting and sometimes ragequitting (which they will be leaverbusted for which is just nonsense). I don't wanna know how it is when they are no smurf to carry and they loose the game because of the bots. And if they wanna try the multiplayer, they'll be spectators of a game where smurf plays and beginners die. They'll even be flamed by other players because they are "noobs". So just tell me: how can a beginner playing solo enjoy league? I guess he can't except if he gets the mechanics fast / he is the new faker / he is masochist.

The consequence is quite sad: many people will quit just after starting because the gaming experience is horrible for beginners. I definitely think Riot should act strongly to make the beginner experience enjoyable again. Else they'll keep loosing players.

I get it that it's not that easy to identify leveling bot automatically since it's a clicking program but I feel there should be a few more things to help out by being strict and encouraging report/explaining issue to beginners:

  1. A superstrict policy ( 1 warning with low priority queue then IP ban 12h later if the account is still botting)
  2. A message before your first Coop vs AI game telling: -> that leveling bots are forbidden and heavily bannable -> telling to report those if you encounter one ( " leveling bot are usually doing this and this .... if you encounter one during your games, be sure to report him under "cheating" after the game ")

Another option should be to sell directly level 30 accounts(or maybe 25) with blank MMR and a certain amount of blue essences on it (so the level 30 account selling business would disappear)

There are probably a lot of other solutions but things have to change. The sooner, the better.

Except bots, u can clearly see yourself that it s mostly a community problem.

The issue with bots in a F2P game is there is almost no investment cost going into the account. If a bot is banned, they just create another one. But flagging an account then banning after a period of time discourages buyers since they wont know if the account they are about to buy is already marked for death or not.

Directly selling level 30 accounts would be a bad PR move IMO. Riot should not be encouraging people to just buy another account when they don't like how their first one is doing.
