Being toxic but "not toxic enough to get punished"

So I recently got punished for being toxic. One of the message said I was the "5% of the players who are toxic 'enough' to get punished". What about the other people that were toxic too? They were let go because they are "not toxic enough". In general they are toxic too but only I get punished? I thought league was a fair system? I bet League don't even read what others are saying and only punished based on how many reports someone get. I have reported people who were severely toxic but they got no punishments. You know why they don't get punished? because it's not enough reports on that one person. videogamedunky was banned for saying only a line of toxicity. (as I seen in his videos) You know why he probably got banned? because the amount of reports on him. League system doesn't do anything unless it is reported many times.

In total, It means league of Legends is promoting being toxic. Because of this, I will continue to be toxic but not "toxic enough" to get a punishment. If this is how the League system runs, then this is how I will continue. Being toxic but "not toxic enough to get punished"

What about the other people that were toxic too? They were let go because they are "not toxic enough".

Their punishment or lack thereof is not connected to yours. If they were not punished then most likely they do not act like that in most of their games while you do; except in extreme cases it's going to take a lot more than one game of negative behavior to get punished.

I bet League don't even read what others are saying and only punished based on how many reports someone get.

You're right, their behavior is irrelevant in the judgement of your own. You are responsible for your own behavior as they are for theirs. Punishment is not calculated per report, but per match.

videogamedunky was banned for saying only a line of toxicity.

This isn't true. The game he shared was not the one that triggered his punishment; he was extremely negative regularly, and the one he shared was just one example of it (and one that warranted an immediate ban anyway, there's no argument there). If that were the only game he was negative in then he probably never would've been punished.

Because of this, I will continue to be toxic but not "toxic enough" to get a punishment.

More likely you'll just trigger another punishment due to consistent negative behavior and move up a step. Punishment tiers are;

  • 10 game chat restriction
  • 25 game chat restriction
  • 14 day account ban
  • Permanent account ban

If you are having a problem with another player's behavior, simply mute and report them. Let Riot take care of them so you can focus on winning the game at hand and not end up punished. I suggest checking out the following articles for guidelines on being a sportsmanlike player;

You get punished based on your behavior. The reports only told the system to look at you, they don't dictate what it finds.

You aren't the only one being punished, you were either worse than those people who weren't toxic enough to be banned or were toxic more often. Its simple. The unfairness you are talking about is in your head. You were judged by the exact same system with the exact same parameters as those people.

The "not toxic enough to be punished" is just acknowledging and accounting for the fact that people have bad days.
