I got Perma-Banned today out of no where yes I was really toxic but a perma ban is a bit to much i never recieved eny warning I said some horrible stuff in chat but i don't think i should recieve a perma ban

Your case was definitely a direct perma-ban with no prior warnings, and I believe it should stand as such. The content of your chat was completely unacceptable.

If you post your chat logs, and the majority of the community feels it should be reduced, then I will have that conversation with you. But, I personally believe it should stand.

He did pretty clearly say that if you want to have this conversation you should post your chat logs for the community to respond to, and if the majority of us agree it was heavy-handed THEN he'd be open to talking. Until you do, I don't think there's much discussion that can be had.

i personally think that instant permabans for hatespeech are overkill, even though i never use it. for this very reason, inters are allowed a 14 day ban before the perma hammer. when intentional feeding is 10x worse then ANYTHING said in chat

Yes and no. Intentional feeding is often a result of hate speech. If you tell me to kill myself I will quite literally kill myself in the game. (Not anymore) but it was fun to do when they told me to kill myself and then wanted to report me for feeding. I was being a good support and listening to my adc but nooooo.

If you don't get a warning though, how do you know what is and isn't acceptable?

There is such a thing as common decency in everyday life. Warning-less punishments are for actions so outside of common decency that there can be no question that people should not need to be reminded that it is unacceptable.

Keep in mind that in Riot's Terms of Use, section 5.1 states that they can terminate any account with / without cause at any time !!

If you think having a terms of use is a shady business practice, perhaps reconsider spending money on any services. Netflix, Spotify, even your internet provider has a terms of use/service. It is simply a legal document that outlines the rights of the company and the rights of the player should legal action take place.

Realistically, if you're not violating the terms of use, you have nothing to worry about.
