So what happens to your honor when you get a 10/9 game chat restriction? It is currently locked showing lvl 1.. I tried to get high honors but if someone can ruin that because they upset they lost I then what's the point of trying to high honors? I mean you can't say something back when someone is flaming the whole game without risk of being CR/loosing honor in this game???

When you are punished, your Honor is dropped to the Dishonorable status (Honor Level 1 for first-offenders, Honor Level 0 for continued misbehavior or egregious first offenses) and locked for a short while.

The lock will automatically lift after some time of playing, and after that you need only regain your Honor through regular play without rulebreaking.

People can't get you punished just because they're upset. To get punished, you would have had to break the rules alongside being reported for it. If you don't understand the reason for your punishment, you can submit the chat logs here for peer review, but otherwise, know that other people cannot impact your Honor just because they feel like it.

I mean you can't say something back when someone is flaming the whole game without risk of being CR/loosing honor in this game???

Why would you need to say anything back to them? If they're flaming the whole game, then they're beyond unreasonable, and there's no point or benefit to trying to talk to them.

If someone's flaming, you should just mute them in-game, report them post-game, and move on. Talking back to flamers just risks you getting punished as well if you can't handle the situation appropriately.

You can be upset that you lost. What you can't do is take it out on other people.

Alright well I got what I needed thanks for all the comments we can argue all day about this but it's best for everyone to just move on! lmfao! No need to waste anymore time on this. I will ask riot which is the final say on this subject/has facts behind what happened so i can find the answer I am looking for! The main reason for this thread was to point out more that The first CR I got Reset my honor rank completely which I think is a little harsh.

Exactly why its better to mute and play, OP. Because of examples like these. One of the few times I don't mute my chat box and this is the kinda stuff I have to read. And trust me, it happens very often. You dare try to mediate between these guys and you'd be dragged right down into it. So its best to never say anything, whatsoever. Go with an unmuted chat box and atleast 4-7/10 games will have someone talking nonsense. And, you're expected to never stop them or retaliate (if you're the one being flamed).

yeah harsher punishment but saying your ignorant learn what team work is before you play ranked gets you the same punishment then why bother with honor.

I know how you're feeling because I've been in your shoes as well. But that's the way Riot's policy works! Anything that you say, as long as it can be categorized as being 'Negative' can get you in trouble. If you're not sure then don't say anything at all. If you get scanned manually and you said something which was even mildly offensive then you get punished for it.
