Account bans are never lifted unless there was an error in placing the ban in the first place. Sorry I can't bring you better news.

It helps with context so we have a bigger picture. Think of it like tech support asking you to turn your device off and on. If there are no logs then the next step would be checking email to see if their account is temp banned due to a security issue or a charge back issue, in which case both are easily resolved.

Tech support will only ask you to turn off your device if you are inquiring about something that could be resolved by doing so. They won't ask you if you're inquiring about billing...

The point is typically these posts can be pretty much figured out by chat logs so that everyone who is willing to work with the OP can help identify why they were punished in the first place. It's common enough to warrant asking for chat logs provided with the notification given at the time of punishment. Hence it being similar to a scenario presented.

By all means, I just want a little more context so i can give op as much accurate info as possible. My direct approach can come off as rude in most cases but this section of the boards is to give info regarding the punishment systems in place.

It has nothing to do with being rude. OP did not ask to help identify why they were banned. They asked if banned accounts would ever be unbanned. Chat logs bear no relevance to this question ; the answer is "no".

He doesn't need to post his chat log. He's not asking why or claiming innocence. What's the point to post his chat log other than to crucify him for his actions? All he said is that he wanted to be unbanned. Nothing more, nothing less.
