Remake can be really unfair

Everyones game crashes, and today when mine did I joined the game at the 2 minute 30 mark. That meant I had been reconnecting for about a minute. I got into the game and then a message came up on the screen that players could remake if they would like, and that the afk (me) would get a loss. The team remaked, I lost lp and because in the past there were other leaver issues I was given a 5 game low priority queue punishment. I don't care if the team remakes cos they feel its disadvantaged them, but for me to get a punishment when I was 1 min late to laning phase. Shouldn't riot acknowledge whether the player was either connecting or obviously had already joined the game??

Remake is the best of a worst case

Your team has no idea weather you're reconnecting or simply never going to come back Riot wants to respect the majorities choice, by giving them the option to remake if a player doesn't connect in the 1st 3 mins

3 mins, is plenty of time to reconnect to a game for 90% of league, the 10% that can't connect within that window would still offset their team. In most cases simply reconnecting doesn't add any value, say if you reconnect goto lane and die because enemy laner is 4 while you are 1. In that light, the 3 min rule, is very practical as the game hasn't truly begun.

yes it sucks to a be a fringe case, in which you would a been okay in game had they not remade, but if riot adds 30 secs people will want a min, if they do a min people would want 2 so on and on and ond until you can remake all the way up to the 20 min ff

i think as a compromise, remake should be treated like a dodge penalty, not a full loss, since NO ONE IS LOSING LP BUT THE AFK
