people that report for stuff they start

I understand the reports are there for people being negative and Etc. but what I don't appreciate is getting reported for something I did not start. yes there is times I respond back and for that I'm sorry. but people take this game too serious. the community over the years has gotten worse what I like to know is there something that can be fix on making the report better like punishing other people for reporting so they can see if u report for no reason you will be punished and not them.

? I might not be understanding something but will try my best here.

Non-valid reports, reports made against someone for no reason, get tossed out by the system. E.g. if you report me for toxic chat but I never said anything, that report will be thrown out.

Based on the title, you have no idea who reports you actually. Maybe x started it (which doesn't matter btw) but player y is the one who reported you.

Mute people who are tilting you via verbal actions. If it is tilting you, maybe you also are taking the game too serious.

omg that is my favorite technique.. the old.. soft toxic.. then counter report..

they do it because of those feedback reports. it is so fun to get them that trolls seek ways to turn people toxic so they can try to get them punished.
