Is this a joke? or if you type "kys" even though you are stating you mean "kiss your self" when you do a good job in a BOT game you just get banned? We were all were saying it to each other, though chat doesn't show. I know it's silly but even James Brown had to jump back and kiss himself sometimes. Is this real life? dawm

Your English looks pretty good, certainly better than "sorry no english".

I'm pretty sure you know what kys is, even if English isn't your first language. I'm fairly sure you know that kys is almost exclusively used to mean "kill yourself" in online circles. The fact you used it, most likely knowing it is normally used to mean kys, then thought a fake explanation of "kiss yourself" would make up for it means you're either trolling the game, trolling us here, or both.

Valid and deserved punishment. You're lucky the, in my opinion obvious, trolling didn't get you a permanent suspension right off the bat. Grow up.

Oh yeah, I won't try to pretend to be an expert in languages or anything, but I can tell you that I'm extremely doubtful that your "other language" chat was actually another language. Looks more like immature fake asian/pacific language to attempt to either make fun of them and/or pretend you don't speak English.

edit A comment pointed out that one line may potentially be him being racist in Vietnamese. Whether that's intended or just a coincidence, either way he's being negative/toxic with it.

I agree to goofing around, being silly but assuming if someone types the letters "kys" they can only mean horrible things. That's so far out of wack. Like I said I think everyone in the game was banned. Maybe if you saw everyone was having a laugh and could read the chat it would put it into context. The meaning was stated, I made it clear I wasn't referencing anything bad to be sure. This was a BOT game again.

A suicidal person, a depressed person, heck, even just someone who missed your "explanation" would consider it to mean kill yourself.

Again, I don't believe you made it clear anything. You realized you might get banned for saying "kill yourself" and as such you tried to "clarify" it to avoid a ban. Well, now you know that childish things like that won't work.

Why are you so angry in all your comments to anyone on the board? You angry down talk to everyone, are you a guidance counselor? or were you? Seriously, like 0 chill. For the record I am a suicidal, depressed person and no I wasn't trying to "cover" because I was afraid I would be banned. If so others in the game I was not que'd with must of been trying to help cover it up as well. This idea of flat out though control is disturbing. I'd really like to get the entire chat log up here. I assume there are at least 3 other banned players after that game who are sitting here shocked.

Maybe you should read my initial comments to people. When people come to the boards legitimately looking for advice/opinions, I am more than happy to provide mine. I do so in a respectful, openminded way.

When someone comes to the boards with a chat log that reeks of troll, tries to pass off "kys" as "kiss yourself", and fakes speaking another language in chat when obviously that's not true... I lose my patience. If you did not want to be called out for your fibs, don't post on a public forum.

To be quite honest that's the one language I have almost no experience with at all. Chinese/japanese I know very little of but enough to understand that those are not valid sentences in either of those, and indonesian seems out of the question too given the "ang".

Regardless, being racist in Vietnamese isn't really helping his case if he actually does speak the language. Either way, he's being rude.

This is why this system is unfair when the entire chat log is posted. Even if the others names are not shown there is no context without it and it's unfair to be judged.

Because without that information, and with your near impeccable English here, all we can assume is you were attempting to fake another language which is, in and of itself, usually racist.

It's not unfair - you're punished on your chat logs and yours alone. If other people are making you angry, you are free to mute them and not see what they have to say. You are not free to respond negatively to them.

It's not racist to type in any language. It's racist to type racist things in any language. I've got some Dutch ancestry, but if I call someone hottentotten, that's still racist. If I was speaking Latin and called someone a barbarian, that's racist in Latin, but not racist in English.

As far as my translation ability goes, you used racist Vietnamese slang. I was the one who brought it up. It could be that "mi dang" and "mi chang" are acceptable. But your punishment was most likely for the KYS spam.

He is saying that he has to kiss himself. That's a display of vanity, but it does not actually have anything to do with telling other people to kiss themselves. That being said, I have attempted to kiss myself when told to do so in-game in order to improve my performance, but when I point out that I am doing so for the sake of the team I am then told to drink bleach. I don't use bleach on a regular basis, so I have to afk to go to a store and purchase some. By the time I return home with the bleach the game is over and I no longer am obligated to drink bleach for the sake of my team.

This community has turned into this self-righteous, drained of any fun it's completely pathetic. Thing that seem to be ignored. I wasn't angry, the "kys" wasn't directed to anyone in the first place. Yes. The not speaking English was clearly a joke as I then spoke English. Does anyone understand humour around here? Yes, this was totally a meme. I wasn't "toxic" in anyway what so ever and I stand by that. So after this 14 day ban what do I learn other then this community is now the most uptight, unfun place to be? Anyone who thinks I said it and really ment it is out of their mind and I in no way was trying to cover for it, that's rediculus and I would just own up to it.

I'm very sure if this entire chat log was shown I wouldn't be being crucified like this. It was just silly, laugh a lil.

And yes confirmed 2 other people were banned in that game so 3 people auto banned is silly. They would of only said it to me after I did something good and say "hey Udyr, kys" and I said Ty. So why were they banned to? I didn't report them. You are telling me 1 random person who isn't even being directly talked to hit report knowing we were all just joking had us all banned. It happen so fast I know it wasn't reviewed.

The people that come here are the type to call by-law when you park on the street for too long, and will call the cops to a concert the moment the clock hits the legal time allowed to play loud noises for events. Riot likes to kiss these peoples ass, so we are stuck with this sensitive banning system that ends your account's existence the moment you utter a slur or specific combination of letters, regardless of context, and these people think it's a good thing lmao. This is why if you want to flame people you have to do it with a big smile on your face. Sarcastically compliment them extensively when they make a stupid play, that really pisses them off and there's fuck all that IFS can do about it. If your team really drives you nuts you can just farm the jungle until 50 minutes when you have 6 items and are ready to teamfight, as it is a very legitimate strategy, just make sure to hit the enemy champions once in a while.

If you truly don't know (something I find it hard to believe since it's a 14days ban), if you're going to play a game that's in a different language you're used to, then at least make some light research in what is okay to say or otherwise.
