Players who don't take ranked seriously are ruining the game for me and others like myself who play consistently and aim to win or prevent the other team from winning for as best as possible.

However, my wins are continues followed by being matched with players who are first timing champs in RANKED games or trolling because they didn't get their preferred role. This is unacceptable in a competitive setting.

I recommend that higher standards and expectations be placed on Ranked. If a player is on a losing streak, they shouldn't be matched with players on win streaks. Period. The losing player is either unskilled, trolling, on tilt, unfocused from playing too many games, or at the very least isn't skilled enough for Ranked play.

I strongly think that Riot needs to re-evaluate their Ranking System to better gauge players and their skill.

I don't know what it is about the boards being full of riot apollogists but you are right, Ranked needs a serious revision to remove people who pick brand new champs or troll for roll. Something like a mastery requirement or 'ranked games played' requirement would be nice but tricky to impliment. As for the trolls for role player that's a much harder thing to handle. if you watch streamers there's a real issue with people in plat and diamond elo having this mentality as to what can be done, eeeh I guess more accurate role prediction based off of win loss in previous games but again, hard implementation. I wish you luck in your climb man.

IMO, I don't think your suggestion is going to work because the problem sounds like you're upset you lost in a win streak. Shit happens. You gotta try and keep your chin up and power through it.

As for your suggestion specifically, pairing people who are in win streaks only with those who aren't in losing streaks doesn't make sense. You have no idea why they're on their winning or losing streaks.

Maybe they are at the elo that they're playing at and they're in one of their dips and then they're starting a winning streak get back to their peak and then come down on a losing streak and keep yo-yo-ing because that's where their elo is and they're hovering in a specific elo range.

Win streaks typically mean you're either yo-yo-ing or you're higher than your current bracket and you're just going through the motions until you've reached your plateau and then you will yo-yo yourself.

What if you reached your yo-yo point and that is your elo and you're meant to have that break in your win streak and you're plateauing?

What if you just had a bad game but are still climbing?

How is Riot supposed to know which one you are? Riot is already doing their best to get rid of inters and trolls. If you're upset that you think they're unskilled to play ranked, just remember, their elo was close enough to yours that you got matched with them. Does that mean you're not skilled enough to play ranked?

They do need to reevaluate things, but in your case I'd say "Luck is the residue of design." In other words, you really want to set yourself up for success.

You seem like a Sivir one-trick which is great. I think she's sleeper OP. My advice after scanning your set-up with her is this:

I would take TP over heal. Winning games is about objective clearing and she can eat towers late game. TP in, take the tower, get out. If you're not into TP I'd take ghost, but I personally wouldn't take heal. Let your support help there.
While it's not the most "fun" build, I tend to max W on her. It allows easy CS pick up, nice poke, and safe gameplay. I find Sivir to be a late game beast, I would not be in the business of trading early.
Don't be afraid to build Tear first. If you're maxing W, then you can basically clean up all day. Build into as your 6th item, or sell it for your 6th.
