Why is this such an issue?
Okay, so as of late I have had a tough time picking League back up maybe I'm behind the times or maybe its the meta, I'm not sure. However I want to enjoy playing this game even if I don't win (which I know I don't win much) but Today/yesterday I've played about 9 or 10 games and while most were aram I found myself reporting a large number of players for instantly giving up, Griefing, or just straight up going AFK. I know its not Riot's fault, nor do I know if the players are having connection issues, but what are the chances that in probably 50% or more of my games had AFK threats from my teammates?
like I want to enjoy this game, but when this happens, whether its due to tilt from other players because of similar issues as I am having, or just a state of frustration with the power spike of certain Mage champs I don't understand how 1 player in NA could get so unlucky. I feel as though no measures are in place to remake a game or prevent players found to afk often from a game. Once again I know the games I spent most of my time on were ARAM today, but I still think its a little unacceptable that so many players can AFK and there be no countermeasure other than a potential 15 min ban? like my last game we literally all said screw it and stood next to our nexus and let the enemy team push through all of our turrets and win (thankfully they respected our choice and didn't kill us) but I would like to know if there are measures in place that I am unaware of to prevent this type of Griefing. I just want to casually play League but find myself being tilted more than actually wanting to play Ranked or normals due to the high traffic of AFK players I have recently run into.
Please let me know if I'm being unreasonable or if this is a concern anyone else is having, because I don't get frustrated often, but this has become a bit ridiculous in my mind.
