So I was going to be playing bot lane as Jhin today (11/23/17), and when I got to the point where I was going to lock in my champ, I switched to Soraka Accidentally. But I figured screw it! Let's have some fun, It's only a norm. At the time I did this my whole team instantly started being toxic to me and taking every chance to hate on me. I get in game and as I said I was the adc role so I thought I'd go adc. My jungler thought to make the game hard for me in lane and I didn't care. I had the mentality that it's just Draft and not ranked. So my jg inted a kill, I'm csing with this Twitch beside me that went an adc because I was "adc Soraka". He inted two kills because I was "stealing" his cs. The game goes on and the whole team is telling the other team I said all these toxic things, which I never said any. To get the other team to report me. At the end of the game I reported the four players that were extensively toxic towards me. And I'm guessing that everyone reported me for something and I got banned on the acount named "Oceans are blu" My question is, does anyone actually check for these things? Because I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't feed or int. In fact most of my team had more deaths than me. And I wasn't toxic at all. I was defending myself in a calm manner. Is there anyway I can get unbanned? Because this is totally unfair that I got banned for something I didn't do.

Just getting reported doesn't cause anything. You have to have been toxic for that report to trigger a punishment.

Post your chat logs and myself or one of the Advisers can help indicate to you what caused the punishment.

chat logs?

Yes the system does check the logs before issuing a punishment. If you need help identifying what in your logs was toxic, please post your chat logs.

Anytime someone says "I was defending myself..." it automatically makes me wince. There's a big difference in defending yourself and retaliating, and many people tend to get those two things mixed up. Another thing, often times people will repeat what the toxic players are saying in /all chat, for example "I didn't say kys retard f@@s." Now, to a person, that would read as someone defending themselves. To the IFS, it reads as a player using hate speech, because they are repeating the hate speech that another player used. It's the sort of thing that happens quite rarely, and Support will take things like that into consideration if you submit a ticket, but in general, it's best to not repeat things that teammates said if you know they are against the ToS.

If you would like for us to review your logs and see if anything in them might have triggered this ban, feel free to post them. We'd be more than willing to look over them for you.

Rito will check your account starting at 1 report. Multiple reports don't change the outcome. When you have ape partners the best thing you can do is say "Muted and enjoy the int ban :)" that of which I have done several times.

First, you should present logs if you want community feedback.

Second, how the fuck do you go from Jhin to accidentally picking Soraka?

It doesn't matter if they have one report nine reports, it only takes one for your chat to be reviewed.

It's really unfair to me, and I don't know how many other people this has happened to. But it's really fustrating.

how do you "accidentally" switch from J to S?

multiple reports don't carry any weight towards getting a punishment. 1 report counts as much as 9. if you got banned, it was because of something you did/said

if 9 people report you and you did nothing wrong then guess what? nothing happens
