why is punishment system not being worked on

here is how it goes;

one person queues up solo and gets put with 4 premades.

the solo dies once.

premade flames and harasses the solo to the point the solo wants to die.

premade reports the solo after the game.

the solo gets punished and the premade gets nothing since its only 1 report.

solo is made to feel even more like shit after being flamed and harassed by getting a punishment.

so my question is why is riot just ignoring the cyber bullying and punishing people who are the victims of this bullying?

honestly my depression is worse than it has ever been because this happens to me regularly. i have actually considered taking my own life at some times because of how bad it has gotten from everything people have said to me. (there are other things but this is a contributing factor.)

i have legit had to go talk to a therapist because of shit that has happened like this on the game.

what does riot do?

"nope punishment is final fuck you"

would be nice if i could enjoy the game for once.

Multiple reports do NOT increase the likelihood that someone gets punished. It takes one report to trigger a game for automatic review, anything beyond that is irrelevant.

##Reporting a Player FAQ from the Riot Support website

_"Do not ask other players in the match to report the offending player. It only takes one report for our systems to review a game. Additional reports will not do anything for the offending player; _however as mentioned above, it could open yourself up to a report of your own."

Number of reports doesn't matter. Premades or solos don't matter.

If you got a chat restriction, show your logs. The system does not punish based on false reports.

Additionally, if a video game, which is supposed to be for entertainment, is causing you mental and emotional distress, you need to think about yourself and not put yourself into that kind of environment. Your League rank is an imaginary number that has no bearing or importance on your life.

you should probably look up how the system ACTUALLY works before complaining about it...

I think you left some parts out of your scenario. Mainly the "Solo starts flaming back and insulting the premade". Everyones rule breaking is counted against them, some get chat restricts due to different behavioral histories, some dont get punished.

Think of it like this; each account has a toxicity meter tied to it. When you break a rule, that meter fills. Once it is completely full, you are dealt a punishment. So you see, its completely possible for one to get punished and the other not, even though they both violated the rules.

Obviously Riot didnt create a system where premades' multiple reports count more than a single report. How would that help Riot to create such a biased system easily abused by premades? Theres no reason to believe thats how it works.

I have depression. It absolutely sucks when people make you feel like shit, both irl and online. And I do sincerely mean this in the nicest way possible- take a hiatus from League of Legends (and possibly social media and the internet itself) until your mental health is better. Your mental health and wellbeing is more important than a video game. Take a break and perhaps do things to improve your health or at least relax until you feel like you are ready to come back. Or, don't come back at all if that's what it takes. League of Legends, and most video game franchises alongside with their player base are not the type of people you should expect sympathy from and I don't mean this in a bad way, it's just how it is. Is it wrong? I think so. Will it change? Nope. But that is what you should expect.

Good luck OP. Please take my advice seriously as it will help you.
