Punishment for toxic players is very lax

I am curios as to why over all these years this has never really been addressed in a meaningful way. I took a fairly long break from league because I was honestly tired of going into a game to play and just see players yelling at each other. Whether its to blame someone for a death, blame the jungler, or just because someone is playing below the average of the group. What happened to rewarding players who actually take the time to try and help while suspending those who do not? Why can someone sit in chat and harass their teammates for the whole game to on receive a 24 hour suspension.

I have also seen some of my friends who after having someone be toxic in chat and decided not to play the game because most of us actually come to this game to enjoy it. So why do those players face bans for going afk when its because they just couldn't stand playing in the same game as someone that was that toxic. I just don't understand why the system has not really changed since I started playing this game 5+ years ago. Is there some system in place I am not aware of for this other than just reporting after the game?

No it is not.

The system is actually incredibly draconian.... just that hyper feminist/leftists like you want totalitarianism on the style of 1984.... the system in-place right now is very much effective. We are playing in the era of the least toxicity League of Legends has ever had.

It's changed massively, what are you even talking about?

Even if the system has changed there are little to no results. I have seen almost no change in the amount of toxic players in again the 5+ years I have spent with this game. I don't see how you would find the system severe in any way, at most you get a few day suspension, or a few weeks if you are a repeat offender. The system allows these players to simply make a new account and play for a few days just as toxic as usual to then move back to their main account and continue there. Leveling an account to 30 is not difficult and getting there will net you a few rune pages and a few champions that you want to play.

Also this is not the least toxic I have ever seen the game, the only way I see non toxic players in every game I play since I have come back to do disable all chat and play with a full party. On another note in over 200 games of heroes of the storm I have run into maybe one or two toxic players. So please explain why there would be such a difference unless the other game had a better punishment system?

Did you even read the post? It is not the least toxic era ever. If you cant understand that then its fine, but not paying attention and just ignoring the problem helps no one.

If you do get a confirmation please do reply so I can see it. You never know I and the group of friends I play with could just be extremely unlucky with the amount of toxic players we are matched with.

Yeah all of these people like playing the victim there's a mute button yet they refuse to use it. Some say they don't like muting people but then they come back and complain about toxic players. I find this amusing.

But how often does the perma-ban actually happen? Because i hear about most people only getting temp bans but nothing more if they are toxic.

guess you are informed wrong. read on this board for 5min and you see enough ppl who got permabanned and say they uninstalled :D
