Banned for 3rd party programs?

I was banned for the use of 3rd party programs, but I only use Overwolf which I thought was not bannable. Could you please tell me why I got banned?

Riot posts they'll ban scripters today, boards starts to slowly fill with "false 3rd party bans", love it.

it's almost as if there might be some legitimacy to it. Riot announces they're issuing bans, people are aware that they have every tool necessary to investigate, yet they still call foul when it happens. Personally I don't log in to the forums and invite myself to look stupid if I know I've done something wrong.

All I do is to make fun of them for perma banning me for passive aggresion, which shouldnt even be considered a thing, because wiki (they linkedit to me) says it's a mental illness and I can't actually cure arrogance and stubborness :p

But this... every single one of them speaking none-sense that they never used software, are pretty much the same ppl I call scripter, report for script and they laugh at my face saying "thee's no scripts and hacks in lol" :)))

submit a ticket to riot support. they announced the other day they were doing a major sweep and bans for 3rd party mods/software ect

best advice is not to modify the client in any way what so ever... it could be a mistake on your ban but chances are its gonna stick... if you happen to create a new account ( that is what all perma ban players do ) id suggest uninstalling any software or mods, deleting league and re down loading a new clean file.
