Okay, so I just came home to play some league today with my friends, in hopes of reaching gold somehow this season, and I was suddenly faced by a super long wait timer that just wanted me to leave, because a 1 hour wait time is a bit too much for a queue. And when the server issue was fixed for me, I looked forward for some aram with one of my friends so I could wait for my other friends in a ranked game, when I suddenly logged on and another wall blocked my entrance. On this wall was the text that was listed above. Apparently, this was from me! However, the thing is that I do not have any memory of playing league yesterday, except for a custom game to try out the best build for Diana, my favorite champion. Anyways, I see this very odd Lucian game in my match history, that I, truly, truly, truly believe that I did not play. In fact, I had so much homework last night, I stayed up until 1 am this morning trying to finish it. During this time, I closed out of league in order to focus on the task at hand. I do have some suspicions and theories about what had happened, but I do not know for sure, and I sure as heck do not want to point fingers at anyone. To me, I think this suspension is a joke, because I swear, I was never as toxic as this user that took over my account to play a ranked game on Lucian. In fact, I can offer some proof that that Lucian, was in fact not me that played last night. First of off, you guys, if you even come to read this email, and I definitely hope that you guys do because I really want a golden border this season, can check any of my other matches in my history and check the logs on any single game you want, and you can deduct that I am never as salty as this stated user that took over my account. Second of all, THE BIGGEST PROOF OF ALL, MY FLASH IS ALWAYS ON THE "F" KEY. YOU CAN CHECK ANY OF MY PAST HISTORY MATCHES OF ALL OF TIME IN THE UNIVERSE, AND YOU CAN IN FACT FIND OUT THAT I AM, in conclusion, a f to flash kind of guy. "D" is for dance! At no random circumstances would you find that I would randomly change my binded key that I've gotten use to for almost a year. In conclusion, I think that a sudden change in the flash key, a sudden burst of toxicity, and my extreme amount of homework last night amount to some degree of proof that this random user that took over my account is in fact not me! This is all the information that I have to offer, in evidence that I did not regurgitate this disgusting language out to any of my teammates or enemy team in the game chat. So if any of you league administrators that even take the careful time to read such a long message have any mercy, I suggest that you look into this issue and release this suspension! I really hope to reach gold this season, and if you guys have any idea how much devotion and emotion I've put into this game, you would understand. Thank you so much for your time, and I definitely hope for the best of TSM this season. Thank you.

Also, I sent a request 1 day ago in the Riot Games Support page, which was responded as follows:

Hey 3DWeird,

A 2 week suspension was placed on your account because of recent in-game behavior which created a negative experience for other players. For the specific chat logs which led to the ban please log into the client where you can view your reform card.

We will not be lifting the suspension due to the negativity observed but I do have some tips you can use to avoid future bans:

Focus and concentrate on your own gameplay and teamwork. You can’t control others, but you can control yourself. Don’t fight fire with fire. Mute players who are creating a negative environment and report them at the end of the match. That way they’re the ones worrying about a ban, not you. Sometimes things can get heated. Don’t be afraid to take a break between games to reflect on what went wrong and what went right. Clear your head before hopping back into the next battle! Keep in mind that if audited again for negative behavior your account will be permanently suspended. The good news is that most players will never reach that level of punishment. In fact, most players who have been warned or suspended are able to change their behavior completely; I am confident that with the right attitude by taking the tips I’ve shared to heart you can avoid any bans in the future.

This definitely does not solve any of my problems. Also, this is the first ban on my account, and I think that this 2 week suspension from a person who took over my account is way to mean. Please look into this issue, to whomever it may concern. ty

This is absolutely disgusting! Someone has hacked your account, and you got punished for that. As someone who has been suspended before, this is very unjust and stressful. Riot needs to rethink this and un-suspend your account.

Wow, I feel bad for you, man.

You definitely brought up some good points. I checked your match history and the flash on F part can definitely be validated. You seem like a nice guy - I doubt you would be a toxic person.

Also, Riot's customer service is known for its ignorance and lack of reading. If this was your first time offense, which was most likely another person who had possession of your count, I hope they can give you a break. Losing ranked rewards and a 2-week ban from such an amazing game for a crime you didn't commit is highly unfair.

I hope Riot solves this for you.

riot support is so useless

im 90% sure they didn't even bother to read your ticket because that reply is copy-pasted

they refuse to admit that they unjustly ban people, and never reverse bans unless someone complains about it enough that they hit the front page on here or on reddit

you're probably better off just waiting out the 14 days. don't waste your time

from then on, be on your ABSOLUTE BEST behavior, because now that you've been banned you are one stike away from permaban. false reports don't count so don't be afraid of that. just be very careful with what you say in game.

Message I received earlier on my request:

Hey there,

I know receiving a punishment when your account was compromised can be disheartening however, the negative affect the account had on the community was irreversible. While we can help players recover their account, we can't turn a blind eye any negative activity that occurred on their account while it was compromised. The other players had no idea it wasn't you on the account.

This is one reason why account sharing of any kind is against our Terms of Use and why we ask players to keep their account information secure. We hold all players responsible for their account and what happens on the account. It's not safe to share accounts and it can lead to a permanent suspension, as you can see in this case, it already led to a two-week suspension :( You have no idea what your friend will do with the information from your account. If they gave your information to a third party, who knows what would have happened to your account! As the account owner, you're individually responsible for any and all activities on the account.

Please know that the 2 week suspension is a final warning before a permanent ban. I recommend taking a break from chat for a while (muting others and moving chat off screen) and relying more heavily on smart pings till your account standing is able to decay.

We will have to remain firm in our decision. If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know.

Man, I feel you. This exact same thing happened to me, but about 3 days before season 5 ended. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was someone at my uni, but of course, I have no proof. In any case, I got banned, chat restricted, whatever after logging in to 6 extra ranked games on my account all of which I had apparently fed down mid and was super toxic in. Also all my RP and IP were spent and my entire friends list was deleted. Unless I had a really bad case of sleepwalking, there was no way those games could've been me.

Just keep talking to support. I did manage to get my perma-ban shortened to a temp-ban (though I didn't get anything else back, including ranked rewards, which kinda sucked, but oh well). If you stay stubborn, you should be able to get something out of it.

In Riots mind, it is your fault that you got hacked.

Honestly, it sorta is your fault. Were you trying to download mods of any sort? Hacks? IP generators or anything? Honestly answer that.

Did you give your password to anyone ever and your account info?

Did you ever download something through Skype? Sometimes it could be a keylogger. Usually a person will be hacked through a keylogger, then that persons account logs into skype and sends the keylogger to their contacts in which their friends will think it's their friend that they know when it's really the hacker.

Other than that, I don't see how you could have been hacked honestly. One would have to guess the user name, then guess the password successfully.

I recommend downloading Zemana Anti-Keylogger free edition to prevent your keystrokes being recorded. I recommend downloading web plugins like web of trust, adblocker plus and such.

Don't expect Riot to do much for you sadly.

Here's the thing tho.. You got a 14 day ban, this leads me to believe you have been toxic multiple times and have gotten chat restrictions in the past on that account.

You send in a Support ticket to riot and you tell them you were hacked. send them the ip address you use normally on your home system (it may help your case here)

Tell them the last time you played a game on your system and their records should list the ip addresses of each game and they may be able to figure out when exactly it wasn't you on your account playing/hacked.

(but if you were attempting to get boosted, then no sympathy for you...account sharing is verboten)

I'm curious though, I noticed you told support you were hacked. It's easy enough for them to determine you were hacked. Sometimes they reverse those bans because of how blatant it is, and other times they maintain the bans due to poor security on the part of the player. They will usually offer tips on how to better protect your account to prevent this from happening.

In your case, they didn't address security at all, despite the fact that they could easily determine that all of a sudden, this one game where you were acting so out of character was played from a new IP address. Instead, they offered you advice on how to ensure you don't lose your cool.

Is it possible that this "hacker" played the game from inside your house after breaking in? Something isn't adding up. Also, this is typically the third step in punishment escalation, so were you punished twice before for toxicity and then the magical hacker burglar picked up where you left off? Or was your account compromised for so long that they managed to play a minimum of 38 games on your account without you noticing?

If what you say is true, make sure you tell the Riot support (althought, paragraphs would be much nicer compared to a wall of text.) that you got hacked and everything else you've told us.

Tell them to further investigate it that you believe your account was compromised and see if they would reduce the suspension.

Though keep in mind that in this period of time, your account is probably on the fine straws and small amounts of toxicity may get you permabanned. So watch your words carefully.
