Is demonstrating suicidal tendencies in game chat strictly forbidden?

Whether it's joking or serious, but in my case it was unfortunately the latter. I decided I'd play a game while my sedative med takes effect (no overdose), but it was inevitable my depressed brain state would affect my in-game performance. I camped bot lane as Udyr Jungle, but my team started worrying when I was questionably "inting", so I said something along the along with "finish the game fast. I need to kill myself." Then stuff like "what a useless life". Luckily no one paid attention to my written and were rather concerned about my supposed feeding, even though I gave my Vayne a triplekill, a tower and gave the team multiple dragons. We eneded up winning the game regardless; and it was just normal. Aside from the potential game policy violation, am I morally a terrible person for having done this?

I wouldn't say that you are a horrible person for doing this but this behaviour is for sure questionable.

There is no need to discuss that it's a shitty situation for you when you start considering killing yourself and I really hope things will get better (this is overall a sensitive and private topic so I will stop here).

Announcing things like that online is a tough situation for both parties. Some and then people do it for the sake of attention or jokingly but in other cases there is a true core in that statement. Your teammates are confronted with the decision to ignore your saying, trying to help you, maybe contacting institutions who are familiar with this - overall it can be pretty exhausting. Am I overreacting - maybe it's just a joke or should I contact the police - better safe than sorry?

I dont think anyone can objectively say youre a terrible person for that. I do believe it goes against the rules, but im not even 100% sure about that. Even if it is against the rules, that doesn't tie into morality. Riot's rules are not a moral standard to live by. Theyre general rules to help prevent players' experiences from being ruined so that Riot can maximize profits with a larger playerbase. Dont think of them as a moral base. They are far from it.
