This is by far the most toxic game I've ever been in

I've got several pictures of chat logs and stuff, but I don't know if I'll post it because it's too much work. I've already reported every player who took part in the incident.

Alright, here goes.

We started the game, everything was fine and dandy (except for the enemy Gragas telling me that he mained Kha'Zix - oh boy, here comes all of the tips and toxicity). I was playing Kha'Zix, jungling, no big deal. Later on, after dying a couple of times (anti-Kha'Zix team), the Zed and Mundo, who were both in a premade, started flaming me and calling me bad. They were saying this in /All chat, influencing basically the entire enemy team. Every time I died, the Gragas, Ezreal, Mundo, and Zed would call me out for being "bad" and laughing, and in several instances, the Ezreal would say "ez" - possibly mocking that he was playing Ezreal. The joke's not funny. After closer inspection of reading the chat logs, the Gragas' clan tag was "|KKK}". Now, it doesn't offend me, but it could offend other people (I didn't find it funny at all, and I was also trying to use everything the Gragas was doing as more reason to report him).

To top it all off, the Zed on my team was challenging the Ezreal and Gragas to 1v1's - this could have been intentional feeding, but for the most part the Zed was actually winning them, so I didn't really call it out.

In total, I reported 4 people in the game, and all of them had 2 or more violations the Summoner's Code. I also didn't mute them because I needed evidence in case you guys want any. If you want to see the chat logs, just tell me and I'll edit the post and upload censored chat logs. In all honesty, I'm not really bothered that I was being singled out, I'm just upset that people like this are allowed to play this game.

So, please guys, for the sake of others and your account, please follow the Summoner's Code. Riot has mentioned several times before (and in the ToS) that your account does not belong to you and Riot can take it away as they please, so don't ruin your chances.

Edit: I'm not complaining about it, and I've already done everything that could be done to see that these players get banned. This is supposed to show the attackers what it's like for the person being attacked. It's not right to make fun of people for making mistakes; we all do it. You certainly wouldn't want somebody picking on you if you're having a rough day, either.

Yeah, that does sound rough.

Believe it or not, I got flamed in an Urf game the other day and it caught me off guard. I didn't really say anything, just kept playing and reported him at the end. It was just like "Wow, even in the silliest possible game mode at 3am on a weekend can I get called mentally retarded for not performing super well."

I've been playing since mid-Season 3, and for a long time I thought that the community was getting more toxic because I was seeing it in more of my games (especially Season 5/6). Turns out it had been there all along, and I just never paid any mind to the players because I was too busy enjoying the game and exploring new things. It's really worn me down over the seasons though. Pair that with how frustrating some of the new balance changes and champions can be, and it's really hard to enjoy playing League anymore. I like the game for what it is, and I'll probably still play here and there because of the sheer number of my friends that still play, but queuing up feels like too much of a chore for me to want to play the game in any context.

Yes, because people in our society always base their actions on what is necessary.

Necessary as it related to League would be behaviors that disrupt gameplay.

Words alone don't really do that.

Ping spamming does, yet you can't mute someone's pings. How often do you think someone gets banned for that one, compared to saying a bad word?

How about trolling?

Know how often I get thrown in with a premade group of 4x that are all trolling? Build AP on AD champs! Fun!I can ride out the 20-50 minute waste of time, call them out on it (ban!), or d/c (leaverbuster!). How often do you think these groups get punishments?

There is an endless list of actions people take to intentionall disrupt gameplay, and there is nothing you can do about any of them. Yet words can be mitigated. You can mute someone. Does that mean we shouldn't punish people for abusing chat privileges? Of course not.

Does it mean we need to punish for every isolated insult, bad word, or unpleasant remark when the recipient can easily choose to avoid future interactions and exposure to anymore words from that player?

This game needs to be renamed League of REPORT all people do is just spam report on other players for anything because, they somehow singlehandedly brought the team down which honestly, if you were good you'd be able to overcome that. Some people just dont have the game mastered like you do at your normal game lvl 22 account. good job for being good at low levels and not even doing competitive anything in any game. Casual scum.

premades are mostly toxic as fuck, they feel like shaming the enemy with their buddy makes them look cool and shit, stupid middle/high school kids everywhere.

WoW once they opened up cross realm dungeon queueing is still the most toxic system i've witnessed, but this game is a close second.

But overall, I've noticed the games I've been playing in have been far less toxic once I hit 30, then the games I played during the climb to 30.

As rough that was, and belive me I've been there too, hell a lot of us have been in your situation. The best solution I can suggest is the mute button. I did that, it worked for me and I'm enjoying the game to it's full potential.
