DISHEARTENING EXPERIENCE

I recently came back to league from an over 10 month absence. My country was hit by a category 5 hurricane last year and was severely damaged. I have been taking my time before playing placement ranked matches to get back into form. My mission was to go for 10/10 wins, but a team mate had other ideas.

In champion select I chose 'Zed' as my going to lock in choice. I was second (2nd) pick on the team and feeling good. My ally who is last pick and not mid lane wants Zed. I obviously have pick priority over him because of my placement in order, but guess what..? Your team mates can ban the champions you have selected for lock in. Your team mates can stop you from playing what you want to.

He 'my team mate' in a ranked queue bans 'Zed' because I didn't say yes to his demand. Now what should I do? Dodge and auto lose? Play another champion feeling like garbage helping someone who out of spite hindered my game?

I didn't dodge and I didn't do anything in the match. I let the enemy team do their thing. I wasn't going to let someone on my own team bully me and still get me to jump through hoops.

I am asking RIOT please place a safety lock on champions chosen for lock-in. Prohibit team mates from banning out each other purposefully.

if you're not going to try, you should dodge.

punished 3 other people for no reason.

So you made the rest of your team suffer for his actions... that's like keeping your neighbourhood up late with loud music to 'punish' one person for something petty.

A player is allowed to ban a champ for any reason he wants to. Even if it is for the reason to deny someone else on your team from playing a champ.

What isn't allowed, is for you to pick go in to the game, buy no items, have 0 CS, and purposefully lose the game via passive INTing or AFK.

I play only two champs in most cases. Trundle and Tryndamere and I have had people on my team ban both of them before because my name kind of makes it obvious that I two trick those 2 champs. But I can also play Nasus well enough.

Nothing gives you the excuse to passively INT. Play another champ or if you can't handle that, dodge the game before it starts.

If you aren't here to play the game to try to win the game, and your going to purposefully lose games when someone prevents you from playing what you want or otherwise. Then you shouldn't be playing this game, Not only is it just unsportsmanlike to try to correct a wrong with yet another wrong. You also negatively impacted the game of 3 other people on your team who were not involved in what set you off. and they have every right to report you. and if you keep doing stuff like this you will get banned and rightly so. If you enter a game you are expected to play it out to the end to the best of your skill level.

In short. You either need to stop with that behavior or go and play a different game.

I'm being honest and stating what I did. The issue was, he was playing with friends. They were fine with it.
